Peter Grocock – Captain: Pete has always had a passion for the ocean, He started his yachting career in the Australian marine industry as a mate on the trawling boat "Inscription". He cruised the northwest of Australia and the Indian ocean and training fisherman in deep sea trawling and later as a mate on the sportsfishing boat "Tsunami". In his younger years growing up on the Murray river he was a water skiing and jet ski instructor for Murray Water Sports and also was an active member of the Royal Australian Surf Life Savers. He holds the Bronze Medallion since the age of ten. He lives to surf and does so whenever the chance arises. He has a passion for writing music and playing the guitar. He is a fun loving person with much energy and enthusiasm to share.
As Captain, Pete feels extremely fortunate to be in the Caribbean operating such a beautiful vessel, working with professional people and having the opportunity to make the moments unforgettable for anyone who steps foot on M/Y MIRACLE.
Khan Fueller - Chef: Born on the East Coast of Australia, Khan grew up spending most of his spare time on the beach and in the water.
Steak and seafood are a big part of his culinary background as well as Italian, Asian and Mediterranean Cookery. He has also earned his qualifications in hospitality operations and hotel management as well as having extensive experience as a bartender, barista and in silver service.
His advanced spearfishing abilities means that given the opportunity, the guests of M/Y Miracle will enjoy the absolute freshest of fish and the ultimate culinary experience. He lives an extremely active lifestyle that also includes freediving, surfing and scuba diving.
Debbie Leenderts – Chief Stew: born and raised in New Zealand but it was not long before her passion for life lead her on travels across the world learning and falling in love with the different ways of life. Her sense of humor has seen her become a much loved part of the Miracle team. Her down to earth caring nature who takes pride and pleasure in making sure guest are looked after to the up most satisfaction. With over 10 years in hospitality and silver service training Debbie has the knowledge and this skills to help make your trip the ONE to remember.
Stewart Mitchell – First Mate: Born and raised on the waters of South Florida where he took to fishing, spearfishing, diving and surfing at a young age. He enjoys anything on the water and sharing that enthusiasm with others. Stewart's career on yachts started at a young age, where he worked the docks of the charter fishing fleet in Fort Lauderdale. At the age of 18 he left home to pursue adventure and work. He landed in Colorado where he guided whitewater rafts and kayaking and also became a wild land firefighter for years, which took him from Alaska to Patagonia and everywhere in between. But the salt in his blood called him back to the ocean where he belongs. He now has enjoyed a seven year career in the yachting industry, where his experience and knowledge shines through.
Christina Prince – Dive Instructor/Stewardess: Originally from Cairns, Australia Christina grew up on the water and was taught to dive when she was eight and is now a Qualified PADI open water scuba instructor. She takes pride in sharing the exciting wonders of the world that covers 71% of our planet! There is so much to see down there and don't even worry if you can't swim or have never been in the ocean before. She looks forward to having your clients on board and making this the most memorable holiday of their life.
