MISS KIRSTY Crew Profile

Skipper Niall and First Mate Kirsty are ready to welcome you onboard Miss Kirsty, they are an extremely friendly and outgoing couple who love to entertain, and are looking forward to helping their guests discover some exciting new experiences and adventures.

Niall and Kirsty both met whilst studying at university in Scotland, Niall ran a part time business as a freelance deliver skipper taking boats form the Mediterranean back to the UK and he soon persuaded Kirsty to join him. She soon fell in love with the sea and the adventures they had sailing their family's boat all around the Wild West coast of Scotland out to the sunny Eastern Mediterranean.

Niall, your skipper, grew up and was schooled in England, and became one of the UK's youngest RYA Yachtmasters at the age of 17. Niall moved to Scotland to complete an Masters degree in Business Studies and French, and whilst at university he competed for Scotland as a team racing sailor.  He kept busy during the summer months as a freelance skipper. Niall's degree took him for a year to university in France, which conveniently was close to the mountains to peruse his other passions, skiing and snowboarding! Following university, the corporate world beckoned and he worked his way up to the top of a multi-million pound electrical business before the lure of the sea got the better of him. Niall's other interests are diving and skiing.

Kirsty your first mate and chef, is from Scotland. Kirsty's teenage years were spent driving all across the UK with her beloved horses, competing at British Eventing and Show Jumping competitions. It was her love of her horses that kept her close to home in Scotland where she attended university and completed a degree in Philosophy, and a masters in International Business Studies. Kirsty's love of horses ultimately took her to work as a children's councillor on a ranch in Colorado, where she could combine her love of equestrian sports and teaching. In her corporate life Kirsty worked as a financial analyst for a company linked to the Oil and Gas markets in Aberdeen, Scotland. To prepare for the charter world Kirsty attended the prestigious Ashburton School of Cookery, where she honed her skills as a chef. Having grown up in various different countries it was the Far East that left its mark on Kirsty's cooking, she combines the freshest of local ingredients with a Far Eastern flair that will always have your mouth watering. Kirsty's other interests are diving, skiing and running.
