S/Y NAEJ CREW PROFILE

CAPTAIN : Xavier TRIGUER

Nationality: French

Languages spoken: French/English/Spanish/Portuguese/Swedish

More than 15 years’ maritime experience.

Having started his career as a federal sailing monitor in the second sailing school in France, his passion for travelling and for ocean navigation naturally drove him to the open sea.

On board a Maxi 75’ ‘‘Spartivento’’, he took second place in the ‘‘Nioulargue de St Tropez 1991’’ crew race, then, as first mate on Eric Tabarly’s Pen Duick 6, he has navigated around the Channel Islands and took part as accompanying boat in the famous ‘‘Route du Rhum 1994’’ (Transatlantic race from Saint-Malo to Guadeloupe).

Many convoying assignments (of which 5 transatlantic, 1 in the Pacific, in the Channel and the Mediterranean Sea) and many chartering missions in the Caribbean have completed his knowledge and training.

Having sailed over 50,000 nautical miles in all the seas and oceans of the planet, he will make his knowledge and his expertise available to you to help you discover the most beautiful lagoons and the most wonderful creaks in the Caribbean, and to initiate you into the magic of sailing and the fascination of the Ocean.
