NEKI Crew Profile

Rob and Lexie are both native New Englanders and they met on a 92ft Yacht while doing a Med season five years ago. Both are avid kite-surfers, surfers and very occasionally they are snow bunnies too.
Rob grew up in Newport, RI. He raced and cruised throughout New England during the summer months with his family. After obtaining his BA in English Literature from Rollins college in 2004, Rob decided to work on the water so he would never be land-locked again! Since then Rob has cruised and raced on many boats in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and New England.
Lexie grew up in Southampton, Long Island. It wasn’t until college that Lexie took an active interest in living and working around the ocean, learning to sail and working on the docks in Sag Harbor, NY. Since then Lexie has proved to be very versatile on a boat filling many roles including stew, deckhand, mate, race crew aboard a 12M, and in the past couple years chef. She also has BS in Environmental horticulture from University of Florida.
