Sail and work experience: from a young age he has been keen on sailing, spending over the last twenty years working on various sailing yachts. He has a long experience in passage planning, course monitoring, and rig maintenance. From the very beginning, he has been a true team player, experienced and fond of working closely with owners, crew and authorities. He gets on well with people and he is able to handle stressful situations with a positive sense of humor. He speaks English and French. Over the last 25 years, he has clocked more than 100.000 nautical miles (i.e. 10 Atlantic crossings).

Job description: he is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages teamwork, individual growth and personal attention by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Licenses & Certificates: RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean, Commercial Endorsement – GMDSS GOC (General Operator’s Certificate) – MCA AEC (Approved Engine Course) – STCW

Training – STCW Proficiency in First Aid.

Education: Secondary School.

Sail and work experience: he started his career in the yachting industry as designer in a refit yard; he then had other experiences “hands on” in other yards gaining good skills in yacht maintenance. He has been sailing since 2001 and has skippered yachts in the range 50-80 footer. He enjoys the challenge of being in a responsibility position, such as Captain or Manager. His dedication, hard work attitude and enthusiasm together with an open mind approach have always been of benefit to his employers, colleagues or clients. These traits are particularly appreciated when it comes to life onboard.

Job Description: Riccardo has the expertise required to stand in for Captain in his absence, acting as second in command. He assists the Captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guest’s activities. He has extensive knowledge of sailing yachts maintenance and is responsible for the running of deck equipment and machinery.

Sail and work experience: she started her career as a hair stylist on cruise ships, progressing to beauty manager within a few years. She then started working as a hostess on numerous vessels. Thanks to her international experience and to working in a multicultural environment, she is able to communicate in four languages (Italian, English, Spanish, French). She has a friendly personality; furthermore, having always worked closely with people from all over the world, she has learnt how to manage relationships with the most demanding clients.

Job description: she is responsible for organization, management and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to any and all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met. She offers a particular attention to details and a polite and entertaining spirit. Thanks to her sailing capability, she can assist on deck during navigation.
