Captain Andre Bouse
Originally from upstate New York, Andre has 11 years experience in yachting. He is STCW – 95 certified, PADI certified diver, and holds USCG 200 Ton Master License. He was brought up on the water at his family operated marina and started running small vessels at a very early age. After school, he moved to Florida in 1999 where he started his yachting career at Chapman’s School of Seamanship. After finishing Chapman’s he started working on a variety of large yachts ranging from 120’- 150’. In 2005, he obtained his first Captain’s position with his cruising experiences ranging from the US East Coast, from Nova Scotia south to Florida, Great Lakes, New England, and Caribbean. Andre has a lifetime of experience being on the water with a passion for the yachting industry and loves to provide fun, safe, top level charters which will help make a lifetime of memories for any family.
Mate – Trent Gordon
Trent was born and raised in South Africa, and started his yachting career in 2004. He studied business management for 2 years after high school, when he decided to take a break from college to try out yachting. Trent found himself on a busy charter yacht where he proceeded to become 1st mate after working on board the vessel for over 3 years. Because of his busy and extensive charter schedules, Trent obtained a wide variety of skills that help make a charter memorable. He enjoys sharing his passion for water sports, snorkeling, and various beach activities with guests of any age. He is an excellent water ski /wakeboard instructor, and is also a certified PADI rescue diver.
Chef/Steward – Arunas Bacenas
Arunas was born and raised in Lithuania, and began his boating life working on board cruise ships in 1996. After 3 years employed as a waiter/purser, he made the jump to private yachts in 1999. He started in yachting on a 200’ yacht as steward, and from there has grown over the years to become multi-faceted in both stewarding, and as a yacht chef. Arunas is exceptional in providing first class service to charter guests, and has built a reputation over the years that keep families coming back for more. His attention to detail whether in food, interior cleanliness, or catering to a guests’ every need has made him a valuable asset to any yacht, and helps keep the level of service consistent with yachting standards.
In short, the crew of M/Y “Nina Lu” has the experience needed to provide any charter with first-class, safe, memorable vacations, with guests of any age. Each crew member brings an individual talent to the yacht which makes this vessel a special “one of a kind” experience.
