The luxury motor yacht PROJECT STEEL, previously named MISS DANNA, was built by Bugari and delivered to her owner in 1993, she later underwent a refit in 2020.

The exterior of PROJECT STEEL is designed by Vincenzo Ruggiero.

The 111ft / 33.8m PROJECT STEEL has been constructed with a steel hull and is powered by 2x 630hp Caterpillar with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 13 knots.

Charter guest accommodation

PROJECT STEEL has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 charter guests in 5 suites.

The guest cabins comprise a primary suite with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a VIP suite with a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a cabin with a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a cabin with a twin bed and a pullman bed and en-suite bathroom facilities and a cabin with a twin bed and a pullman bed and en-suite bathroom facilities.

Your luxury charter on board motor yacht PROJECT STEEL will be managed by the crew of 6 including the captain.

The crew will ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable charter experience with all of your needs catered for while on board.

The 6 crew have their own separate crew quarters allowing guests to enjoy increased levels of privacy.

John Ftoulis

Captain

John born in 1978, is a devoted seaman with 25 years of experience. He started his career onboard commercial and cruise ships where he gained all the necessary skills needed to run a tight ship. He is a licensed officer from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and holds a ro-ro passenger ship certificate as well as a Ship Security Officer certificate. His safety-conscious and professional attitude together with his interpersonal skills make him a great captain and companion to explore the sea. John is also a wonderful cook, being an ex-restaurant owner and professional cook and so is happy to accommodate guests culinary requests with great care and enthusiasm. He speaks English and French, and his outgoing personality and willingness to please his guests contribute to an unforgettable charter experience. John is a dedicated athlete and has been an avid water polo player for 20 years. Apart from sailing. he also loves diving, hiking and theatre. He speaks Greek, English and French

Thomas Belsis

He has Joined yachting in 2013 of full time professional experience working on board private and charter yachts.
He holds a license as a skipper and his big love is sailing.He has many technical skills, and is a hardworking, energetic and enthusiastic member of the team.
Thomas speaks English, he is single and his favorite hobby is fishing.

Olga Kothi

Olga has started her work life in the service department of various restaurants, aiming to uplift her service skills and customer service techniques. Her love for sea made her jump in the sailing and yachting sector working as a cook/hostess and chief stewardess of various Motor and sailing yachts. Olga's quiet and gentle personality ensures that every guests' needs are met with a genuinely warm smile. Her goal is that every guest of PROJECT STEEL leaves the yacht with memories for a lifetime!

Avgi is a hardworking individual with excellent communication skills, able to motivate as a team member. Her attention to detail and great organizational skills along with her tireless work ethic ensures high standard service to her guests. Avgi has worked as barista and as waitress, however as she really enjoys being close to the sea she decided to move to the yachting industry. Before joining M/Y PROJECT STEEL’s team Avgi gained valuable experience on M/Y MARKA & M/Y ATALANTI. Currently, Avgi is studying Computer Science and wish to continue her studies in Cyber Security.

Konstantinos Thermos

Konstantinos was born 1984 in Athens Greece. He started his professional carrier on Ferry boats and he joined yachting industry in 2009. Konstantinos has graduated Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra. He also has valid certificates for Life Saving and Fire Fighting, Ship security, safe navigation and speaks fluent English and Greek. Konstantinos is single and his Hobbies except for sailing are, fishing, music and travelling.

Dimitris was born in Athens Greece and studied culinary arts in 2018 and attended seminars of bakery and pastry techniques. From an early age started working in various restaurants as chef and sous chef. Expanding his career in yachting, he has worked in motor yachts such as M/y Oceane II, M/y Ova etc. Describing himself as calm, passionate and driven, Dimitris is excited to create extraordinary food experiences for the guests on board Project Steel. He speaks Greek and English
