Captain: Matt Lloyd

Matt has been working in the sailing industry for the past 20 years. Originally from Beaumaris in Wales, Matt grew up sailing on the Menai Straits and then trained as a chef. He moved to the Caribbean 25 years ago and has been running boats there ever since. He has worked on both sport fishing boats and yachts and more recently has moved onto Ocean Indies II.

Matt is a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster who has logged over 30,000 sea hours both in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. He is extremely knowledgeable about cruising the Caribbean, from the BVI down to the Grenadines. He has also skippered boats in the Med. Matt is on hand to set up fishing lines, for those who are interested and makes brilliant sashimi on deck.
