Ocean Jedi a 58 ft sailing catamaran is spacious and ideal for cruising with comfortable accomodations which include 3 kingsize en-suite cabins.  Both crew are PADI Diving Instructors and provide instruction at additional costs.  This yacht does not allow smoking on board.

BCD and Regulators not included;  rental cost of $25 per diver per week at guest expense.

Underwater digital photography course - $150 per student (no $40 per dive charged ontop of this fee)

Boat driver specialty course - $150 per student (no $40 per dive charged ontop of this fee)

All dives are $40 per dive, per person.

Diving costs will not be discounted, rendezvous diving can be arranged if clients perfer.

OCEAN JEDI Crew Profile

Frank and Denise hail from Reno, Nevada.  (We know - How do you become a sailor in the middle of the desert?)  They have been a couple for 23 years and married since April, 1998.  Frank and Denise brought Ocean Jedi from the Pacific Coast of Peru through the Panama Canal to the Caribbean Sea where they have spent the past two years cruising the Caribbean and discovering all her beauty and bounty.

Although Frank is a true "desert rat" having been born and raised in Reno, Nevada his heart has always been with the sea.  Sometimes opportunity comes from the strangest situations.  In 1991 Frank suffered a knee injury and for therapy took up swimming laps in the local pool.  During one of his swims he noticed a scuba class and decided to give it a try.  Frank was a natural, and quickly moved up the ranks to become an instructor for PADI and NAUI.  His childhood dreams were always of the old sailors and he would visualize himself on their high seas' adventures.  Frank's natural instincts and intuition for sailing are apparent in his smooth voyages.  Frank loves sailing of any sort, whether it be racing or a relaxing smooth sail with friends and guests.  He has sailed San Francisco Bay extensively, and he has served as Master and/or crew on several vessels in Kona, Hawai'i.    Frank enjoys sharing his knowledge of sailing, the oceans and all her critters with his clients.  If you are up for it, he would love to have you take a turn at the wheel under his patient guidance.  Sharing the adventure is what Frank is all about.

Denise is a true "island girl" having been born on an island in the Azores.  Before she could walk she was squeezing the sand in her toes and playing in the waves.  Around the age of six she watched her first Jacques Cousteau documentary and declared that when she grew up she would be a scuba diver.  In 1992 she accomplished that goal and fell in love with the underwater world.  Denise continued her diving education and is now an instructor certified by Padi and NAUI.

She advocates for the ocean environment and has volunteered with the Manta Pacific Research Foundation, Kona's Earth and Oceans day, and has participated in several hundred clean up dives.  She spent a year in Kona, Hawai'i taking clients to swim with wild dolphins.  As evidenced by her photographs she became "friends" with the dolphins and delighted in playing the "leaf game"  with the spinner dolphins in Kealekakua Bay. Ocean Jedi provides Denise with the opportunity to live her dream while sharing her adventures with others.

Wow! What an incredible week! WE couldn’t have picked a more wonderful way to celebrate our 50^th birthdays, 20^th anniversary, Olivia’s high school graduation & Lindsey’s 13^th birthday!!   It was truly relaxing and stress free having a Captain and Mate take care of everything.  We absolutely loved the diving, snorkeling, kayaking and delicious drinks, lobster, and wonderful hospitality.  Lindsey loved her birthday cake and has worn her sea turtle necklace almost every day! Paul said the other day, “this vacation really exceeded my expectations.”  We hope to do it again.
