CAPTAIN - ALEXANDROS SKARIS
Alexandros was born February 21, 1980 in Athens, Greece. He is married and has two childrer. Alexandros speaks very good English and German. He obtained his Officers Diploma after attending the “Merchant Marine Academy” of Aspropyrgos, Athens 2001-2005. Alexandros also holds certificates for: Lifesaving Equipment and Drills, First-Aid, Fire-fighting and Prevention, and Dive Master. He also has a speed boat license and First Star “NAUI” Diving. He began his service at sea on board cruise ship “Century” of Celebrity Cruises from March until September of 2002. Alexandros then proceeded to serve on board cruise ship “Mercury” again for Celebrity Cruises from September to February of 2003. He then brought all his knowledge and experience to luxury motor yachts serving as Staff Captain on m/y “O’Mega”, m/y “O’Ceanos” and m/y “O’Neiro” and today he is at the helm for m/y “O’Pari”. During his free time, Alexandros enjoys diving, jet skiing, wakeboarding and dirt biking. But, he is also a volunteer fire-fighter for the Ekali region in Athens.
CHEF – THANASIS ROUSSOS
Chef Thanasis was born in 1973 in Crete, Greece. He is married and has two children. In 2006 Thanassis graduated from OTEK - The Organization of Tourism Education and Training, where he attended the department of professional cooking. He has also graduated from the private culinary school “Palmie”, and has attended seminars for French cheeses, French products, Bread preparation, French meat, and Food & Wine Tasting. Thanasis has worked as Chef at restaurants “Mourello” in Crete, and “Saffran”, “Giorti”, “Pil Poul”, “Ergastiri Baxevani”, “La Pasteria”, “Chrysa”, “Resto Bio Bar” in Athens. He has also worked as Chef at hotels “Kyrimai”, and “Grand Resort Lagonissi”. He has been awarded the “Silver” awards at the 3rd Greek Competion on Baker and Pastry in 2006 in Thessaloniki, Greece and at the 4th International Gastronomy Festival in 2006 and 2007. Thanasis has also other activities such as: Little Chefs’ initiative, cooperation with Yannis Basxevanis for the experimentation and education of children on the flavors of Greek cuisine. Cooking lessons for adults at “Ergastiri Baxevani” restaurant, Cooperation with the Folk Art Museum, Cooking lessons for children and adults. Also, Cooperation with the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board – HEPE S.A. under the “kerasma” campaign for the promotion of Greek gastronomy abroad: 2007 - New York, education of Greek restaurateurs and special events for the public, 2008 – EXPO Zaragoza, Spain, Head Chef at the Greek Pavilion, 2008 – Paris, Head Chef at the Greek Pavilion, SIAL International Exhibition, Participation and presentation at the seminar “Future nutrition, nature of science” organized by the Greek Association of Nutritionists and Dieticians. Furthermore, he has written articles for food magazines, and has published recipes in magazines and newspapers. He speaks fluent English and French, and basic Italian. During his free time he enjoys playing guitar, reading books, going to cinema, woodcraft, and spending time with his children.
ENGINEER – CONSTANTINOS DARGAKIS
Engineer Constantinos was born November 11, 1979 in Athens, Greece. He is married and has one child. Constantinos holds B’ Engineer’s Diploma and speaks English. He holds certificates for Tanker Safety, Ro-Ro Passenger, Ship Security Officer, Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliance. He began serving at sea in 1998 as Apprentice Engineer on board Bulk Carriers, and he continued to serve as Engineer C’ on board Cruise Ships and Tug Boats. For the period 2008-2012 he served as Engineer on board motor yacht “If”. During his free time Constantinos enjoys swimming.
CHIEF STEWARD – PETROS DIMITRAKOPOULOS
Chief Steward Petros was born June 3, 1959 in Karditsa, Northern Greece. He is married with one child and speaks very good English, conversational French, Italian and Spanish. Petros holds a Chief Steward’s A' Diploma from the “Merchant Marine Academy School of Stewards”, in Athens and holds all necessary Safety, Life Saving and Firefighting Certificates. From 1976 to 1990, Petros was serving as Chief Steward on board cruise ships for "Epirotiki Lines". In 1991 to 1998 he moved on to serve as Chief Steward for cruise ships with "Sunline Cruises". However, in 1999 Petros took his vast experience to luxury motor yachts and serving as Chief Steward on board m/y “Trinity II". Further to m/y "Trinity II" Petros served as Chief Steward on board m/y "Lady HA YA", m/y "Al Yamamah” and for both yachts Petros was also the Marine Yachting Management. From 2005 until 2009 Petros joined "Minoan Lines" to serve as Chief Steward for their cruise ships. Today Petros is on board m/y "O'Pari" where along with his vast experience and elite crew, your journey on board will be memorable. During his free time Petros enjoys fishing and mountain biking.
STEWARDESS – FOTENI KARATZA
Stewardess Foteni was born January 26, 1965 in Athens, Greece. She is single and speaks conversational English. Foteni holds all the necessary Safety and Fire Firefighting Certificates. She begun her services at sea in 1993 on board s/y “Panorama”, and in 1995 she moved on to daily cruise ship “Dion”, and then to “Andromed”. However, in 1996 Fotini brought her services to luxury motor yachts “Lady F”, “Odysseas” and “Shahnaz” working as stewardess. Today Fotini is on board m/y “O’Pari” working hard to make sure that your voyages will be safe and comfortable. During her free time she enjoys swimming, reading, and spending time with her friends.
STEWARDESS – OLGA CHORNII
Stewardess Olga was born December 28, 1986 in Odessa, Ukraine. She is single and speaks English and Russian. In 2009, Olga has graduated from Pedagogical University where she studied psychology. She has worked as waitress and bartender at cruise ships and passenger ships. During her free time she enjoys going to cinema.
BOSUN – MARIOS PATRIKIS
Bosun Marios was born June 7, 1972 in Athens, Greece. He is married and speaks English. He holds certificates for Skipper class B’ and class C’, as well as certificates for life saving and fire fighting appliances and Ro/Ro. He graduated from School “Korelko” and he is attending the 2nd year at the Navy School. Marios has experience at sea from 1994 working as skipper in sailing yachts, and as captain on m/y “Rainbow II”. Further on, he worked as sailor on m/y “White Knight” and m/y “Trinity II” and as Bosun on m/y “Astir” and m/y “Berengaria”. During his free time he enjoys playing soccer and reading books.
SAILOR – EMMANOUIL LIONTAKIS
Emmanouil was born September 1, 1982 in Athens, Greece. He is single and speaks English. Emmanouil holds Captain’s class C' Certificate and all required Safety Certificates. Also, he holds Captain’s Certificate class C. His service at sea began in 2006 working as Apprentice Officer on board the s/t “Golden Gate”, c/v “MCS Sicily” and c/v “Safmarine Himalaya”. He is no smoker and during his free time he enjoys winter sports, swimming, listening to music and surfing the internet.

O'PARI Accommodations
O'PARI can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins. The Master cabin has a king size bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a queen size bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a twin bed, shower and toilet. A VIP cabin has a king size bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. O'PARI is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate companionway, heads and shower.
