CAPTAIN - ELEFTHERIOS PAPADOMICHELAKIS



Captain Eleftherios was born November 11, 1974 in Athens, Greece, is married and has one child. Eleftherios graduated from the “Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra” (Gulf of Saronic Island) holds a Captain Class C’ Diploma and speaks extremely good English. Furthermore, he holds Certificates for General Operator of Global Maritime, Arpa Radar, Operator of Automatic Radar Plodder Aids, Panic Management and Medical Care On Board ship. Eleftherios has several years of experience serving on board various luxury yachts and he was also a Navy Tug Boat Captain from 1998 to 2002. Eleftherios enjoys spending time with his guests on board, answering their questions and in general getting to know them. Once on board m/y “O’Rion”, you will instantly feel “right at home” from the warm greeting you will receive from your crew and the tranquil surroundings of the yacht herself.



FIRST OFFICER – STAVROS ZACHAROPOULOS



First Officer Stavros was born October 5, 1981 in Agrinio, a very picturesque and inviting village located in Western Greece and is single. Stavros obtained his Captain C’ Diploma after graduating from “A.E.N Prevezis”. He then began his career at sea in the year 2000, on board merchant vessels as an Apprentice Officer and worked his way to Captain C’. From May to October 2005, Stavros was Captain on board m/y “Asteras” a 17 meter merchant vessel and then proceeded to command private luxury yacht “Folie Folie”. Stavros is now on board m/y “O’Rion” giving his services and experience, along-side his very professional crew and of course Captain. When not on board, you will find him diving, swimming, fishing, sailing, playing soccer and in general anything that has to do with sports and physical fitness. He speaks fluent English and enjoys sharing information with his clients on board.



ENGINEER – NIKOLAOS RODAKIS



Engineer Nikolaos was born February 20, 1978 in Chios, an island of the North Aegean. He is married and speaks conversational English. Nikolaos received his Class B’ Engineers Diploma from the “Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos”, Athens. Further to his Diploma, Nikolaos attended seminars for: Quality Maritime Services (Engine-room resource management course), National School of Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances of Aspropyrgos, (Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities and Ship Security Officer. Nikolaos has been offering his services at sea from 2001. Today Nikolaos is on board m/y “O’Rion” who along with his crew will make sure that your journey is safe and unforgettable. During his free time, he enjoys attending the theatre, listening to music or riding his motorbike.



CHEF – GEORGIOS KOUDOURIS



Chef Georgios was born November 19, 1965 in Thira (Santorini) one of Greece’s most romantic islands and is considered to be one of the best Chefs in Greece whose reputation is gradually becoming international. He has prepared meals for countless worldwide celebrities that have visited Greece including famous actors, actresses, politicians, and even for Prince Abdul Azis of the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Further to his exceptional clientele, Georgios was cooking for Rivaldo, one of the world’s best and well known soccer players. His success has evolved due to his passion for cooking and the sea, especially since he comes from a family of Seamen. His experience with guests from around the globe facilitates him to offer the highest quality food combined with the ability to adjust to the personal tastes of each client. Over the years, Georgios has worked with many top restaurants in Greece including the “Sea-Side” Restaurant in Santorini as well as on board many cruise ships. Georgios has extensive knowledge and experience of the art, much stemming from his beginning education at the “Palmie University” after graduating from “Mechanical Engineering School”. From the year 2005 Georgios, has been a member of the European Community of Chefs, “Toque”. Georgios is sure to win your respect, not only with his outstanding meals, but also with his extremely warm, friendly and open character. When not in the kitchen stirring up master pieces, you will find Georgios on excursions always searching for something new or doing sports allowing him to stay fit and relax.



CHIEF STEWARD – EVAGELLOS MENTIS



Chief Steward Evagellos was born March 7, 1973 in Elafonisos, Lakonias Greece, one of the most beautiful places one can ever imagine. Evagellos has been working for thirteen years on board luxury yachts and motor yachts, after receiving his Class A’ Steward License. On board m/y “O’Rion”, Evagellos works alongside the rest of his team as one. He is extremely professional and takes great pride and pleasure in his work and nothing makes him happier than seeing that all passengers are having a wonderful time. He is single, speaks English and is considered to be the heart of the crew. When not on board tending to your every need with great pleasure, you will find him fishing or diving.



STEWARDESS – DUMITRA TITORIAN



Stewardess Dumitra was born October 26, 1978 in Constanta, Romania. She is single and speaks fluent English, conversational French and conversational Spanish. Dumitra holds all the necessary basic training certificates for: Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility and RORO Passenger Ships. Dumitra is a very pleasant and thorough crew member, whose skill and willingness is in perfect harmony with the highly professional crew of m/y “O’Rion”. This is the third year in a row that Dimitria is working as assistant stewardess onboard m/y "O'Rion". Prior to joining m/y “O’Rion”, was on board very well known m/y “Suncoco” and m/y “Monte Carlo”. During her free time, Dumitra enjoys travelling, listening to music and dancing.



ASSISTANT STEWARDESS – IVANELA NIKOLOVA



Stewardess Ivanela was born June 15, 1966 in Bulgaria. She is single and lives in Greece for the last 16 years. She speaks fluent English, Greek and very good Russian. Ivanela holds all the necessary basic training certificates for: Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility, Personnel on Board Passenger Ships-Crowd & Crisis Management, Familiarization Training Safety Training, and Passenger Safety. Ivanela has attended the “College of Tourism” and “Bartenders & Waiters Training Course” in Bulgaria. Also, he has attended “Chef’s School” and “Computers Course” at IEK Xyni in Greece. Prior to joining m/y O’Rion, Ivanela worked on board m/y “Magna Grecia” , s/y “Amadeus”, m/y “To Callisto”, m/y “Astraea”, and c/s “Princesa Marissa”. During her free time, Ivanela enjoys reading books, traveling and surfing internet.



BOSUN – GEORGIOS BISTIOLAS



Bosun Georgios was born October 8, 1963 in Lippa, Ioannina Greece. He is married, speaks English and holds Certificates for Advanced Safety onboard and STCW 95, life saving and fire fighting training, RO-RO passenger and Tanker Safety Diploma as well as having received certification for pollution prevention at sea. Moreover, he has a Fast-boat handler’s permit. Georgios has been offering his services on board luxury yachts and motor vessels, for over nineteen years and counting. Georgios too is an exceptional asset to his crew. During his free time, he enjoys fishing, sea sports and diving.

O'RION Accommodations

O'RION can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins. The Master cabin has a king size bed, shower and toilet. 3 Guest cabins have a queen size bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a twin bed, shower and toilet. O'RION is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate companionway, heads and shower.
