Umit CETOK; Captain 

Umit is 39 years old, married and has a 5 year old daughter. Umit has experience with such yachts as MS Gelidonya (28 m), MS Grandi (27 m, three times winner of Bodrum Sailing Cup), MS Cobra Junior (24 m), MS Cobra King (36 m), M/Y Nira(35 m) and MS Sea Comet (29 m). Umit prefers to work on a charter yacht rather than a private one, as he loves people who come onboard, and he has a great talent to make guests happy. Captain Umit loves sailing, and knows cruising area to perfection.

Soner CABA; Engineer

Soner is 32 years old, he graduated from Milas University (Turkey) with a diploma as an engineer. He got a great experience by working with private and charter yachts. All the boats which make up the list of his working experience are the best gulets of the market: Kaya Guneri (30 m), Levent Kaptan (30 m), Fortuna (32 m), Regina (56 m). 

Soner is a non smoker, very fit, friendly, and coordinates great with the rest of the crew. His English is enough for daily communication.

 

Tahsin AKGUL; Deckhand

Tahsin is 25 years old, and graduated from Bodrum college.

Before Papa Joe Tahsin has great experience with a luxury gullet Sema Tuana (34 m) Tahsin is a good sailor, a positive and friendly person, and has average English level. He is very helpful to other crew members. Among his hobbies are: sailing, diving, water sports and football.

 

Seyhan SAPANCA; Deckhand

Seyhan is 34 years old, not married, and is with Papa Joe for 3 years. Seyhan is a real seaman, who knows everything about sailing, yacht maintenance, he is also a great help for service. Seyhan is Turkish by Nationality and was born in Foca, near Izmir area. Apart from his professional characteristics, his important trait is friendliness, team work, tactfulness and care for our customers. Seyhan is making sports, is non smoker. He is very fit, has positive approach to life, self –motivated. 

 

Evren DERYAASAN; Hostess

Born on the 30th of May, 1979 in Izmir, Turkey. After finishing secondary school , studied in a tourism college for restaurant and bar management (graduated in 1995). In 1996 - went to England and for one year studied English in Kingston college. Later on she decided to upgrade her English and in 2007 studied in USA, Intrax International Institute, where she worked as a student ambassador. Evren’s work experience is versified, which is explained by her love to travel and her desire to try herself in different spheres. The scale of her experience varies from working “ala carte chef” in 5 star hotel Grand Azur in Turkey(2001-2003), general management of restaurant Barbarossa in Bulgaria (2004).Her yachting experience started with a sailing yacht “Obsession II” (French owned) in 2005 and later on with a VIP motor yacht “Hulya” in 2006.From 2007 till 2009 Evren tried herself as a merchant in a BIKER DESIGN (vender), and travelled through every single state of America. Since 2009 year Evren committed with Papa Joe and we had three successful seasons with her. Evren has international seaman license. She loves travelling, reading, music, meeting people and learning experience.
