Main Salon & Dining Room: The Salon has a spacious bar and in the center has a entertainment center with 42" HDTV with satellite. Forward of the Salon is the Dining area that can accommodate up to 12 guests.
Aft Deck: There is access from the aft deck to the sky lounge deck and the swim platform. Table and seating area for up to 12 guests.
Sky lounge Deck: The sky lounge deck is an excellent place for entertaining. There is a full wetbar with 4-bar stools, a large sofa, 42" HDTV, card table and day head. This area leads to the aft deck dining area with teak table and chairs with seating for up to 12 guests. There is a BBQ grill and a fold down TV in this area as well.
Sundeck: Features aft include sunbeds and a seating area which can be covered with a large awning and umbrellas if desired. Center there is a covered jacuzzi and forward there are 2 seating areas with tables and a flat screen drop down TV. There is also a retractable sun roof if you wish to enjoy more sun or watch the stars at night.

Captain: Mike O’Neill, South African
Now into his 13th year as a charter yacht captain, Mike brings the Penny Mae program a wealth of knowledge and experience along with a professional attitude and meticulous eye for detail. Mike started his maritime career straight out of school by joining the Navy as a submariner where he served for 5 years before moving across to the Superyacht industry. In the early days he worked as an engineer before obtaining his masters license and has since taken command of some of the industry’s well know yachts such as “Katharine”, “Princess Mariana”, “Majestic” and “Lady Michelle” resulting in many highly successful charter seasons in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. He leads an experienced and seasoned crew aboard “Penny Mae”, ensuring guests experience the cruise of a lifetime. When not working, one will probably find Mike scuba diving or out taking photos ashore somewhere.
Chef: Alisdair Thompson, New Zealander
Alisdair (Al) was born in the U.K. and raised in New Zealand. He has been cooking for 20 years in Hotels & Resorts around the world including “The Savoy” in London as well as 4 & 5 Star Hotels in New Zealand, Australia, The Cook Islands & Europe. He has been in the yachting industry for 4 years based in both the Mediterranean, U.S. & The Bahamas. Al has several cuisines he is proficient in, a few of which are Asian, Pacific Rim, Indian, French & Italian to name a few. In Al’s spare time he enjoys Scuba diving & Photography
Chief Stewardess: Gabrielle Coenen, American
Gabrielle has lived the majority of her life in the beautiful valley of Medellin, Colombia. While growing up, Gabbi spent her weekends horseback riding at the family farm. Moving to Ft. Lauderdale in early 2000, she attended Broward College briefly in 2007 until she found her passion in the hospitality side of yachting in 2008 and has been enjoying the industry ever since. Having worked onboard Unity, M/Y Huntress for over a year and having the chance to explore the Mediterranean and onboard M/Y Meridian she was lucky enough to explore Costa Rica and Panama as well as spending some time in Singapore. Gabbi’s happy disposition and hard working attitude makes her a great fit for Penny Mae. Having 2 younger siblings she is great with Children. Gabbi enjoys trying something new and she is always ready for an adventure, has never seen snow, she considers herself an amateur photographer, loves animals and enjoys yoga, running, kite boarding and the occasional cruise down the promenade on her long board.
2nd Stewardess: Ingrid Kromker, South African
Ingrid was born in Cape Town and grew up on a 45 foot sailing yacht traveling from Cape Town to South America and the Caribbean. After spending the first 10 years of her life on the sea, her parents decided to move to South America where she finished high school before moving back to Cape Town. She decided to make the most of the languages she learnt on her travels and went on to study tourism and became a Southern African Tour Guide/Manager. This gave her invaluable service experience. In 2012 Ingrid realized that she really missed the sea and that it was time to return. She went on various Maritime Training courses and now brings her hospitality experience into the super-yacht industry. In her free time she enjoys her passion for photography, and where better to take pictures than the outdoors, nature and the beautiful cities around the world..
3rd Stewardess: Rosemary Finn, South African
Rosie grew up on and around the water in the coastal town of Knysna, South Africa. She learned to sail from an early age and had represented her country at international level before even completing school. She has also served as a volunteer crewmember with the local Sea Rescue station (similar to RNLI). Rosey has also gained invaluable service experience having worked in the restaurant industry for the past two years, and is now ready to take on the challenge of expanding her skills within the superyuacht industry.
First Mate: Matthew Kingma, South African
Matt grew up not too far from Johannesburg where his family have been involved in boating for many years. He has much love for watersports, and has been waterskiing for some 27 years now, at a younger age more competitively. He also is very active when at home in the water as he plays club level water polo. When he has the chance to dive, he also likes his underwater adventures. Matt has now been on the “big white yachts” for the past 5 years where he is slowly making progress on qualifications to one day run his own boat. He is also an avid traveller and has many more places he would like to explore.
Deckhand: Dewald Ferreira, South African
Dewald has a great love for the ocean, having grown up in a small coastal town in South Africa. Since a young kid he has always been on the water, whether fishing, diving, water-skiing or being involved in a large amount of other water sports. One of his biggest passions in life is fishing and over the years has built up a name for himself having won many fishing competitions and been sponsored by local tackle shops to promote the sport in the past. When he is home in Knysna, Dewald enjoys hiking and traveling, always on the lookout for new and unique diving or fishing spots. He also spends much of his free time riding off-road bikes and which is where his love for engines and all things mechanical developed.
Engineer: Nic de Wilde, Belgium
Nic grew up nearby Antwerp, the biggest port in Belgium, where his interest in engineering and maritime activities developed. He started out his career working in the commercial marine industry for URS and Deme international, in the North Sea oil fields and dredging sectors. During the last 8 years, Nic opted for a slight career change in search of the new and interesting experiences which the super yacht industry offers. During this time he has served in the engineering role aboard a variety of yachts such as “April Fool”, “Lady Allisson”, “Latitude”, ” Meridian” and others. Nic’s hobbies and interests centre around motor sports of any kind, but is particularly passionate about Formula 1.

The Master cabin has a king size bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a queen size bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a twin bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. A VIP cabin has a queen size bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. PENNY MAE is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
