PIXELION Crew Profile

OLIVIER CESSOT
Born in 1960, I grew up in Africa, Senegal, where I developed my passion for the ocean and travels.
I started my career as project manager for IBM France and after 10 years of exciting projects, I felt there were other horizons to discover.
I moved to the Caribbean and joined Nautor’s Swan Charters as technical base manager where I could combine my passion for sailing and my experience as engineer and manager.
Another 10 years of unforgettable experience that lead me to create my own company: Marine Systems Sarl, specialized in marine electronics and project management.
The opportunity to sail across the Atlantic on a 120ft sloop contributed to another turn in my life. Since then I have been sailing as professional captain on various vessels from 60 to 120ft, across the Atlantic, chartering or racing, enjoying the contact with the elements and people.
