Ponyx is a Dufour 51 foot sloop rigged sailing yacht built in 2005 and refitted in 2011 to make her a very comfortable but high performance cruising yacht. She enjoys wide open deck space offering comfortable sunbeds ideal for sunbathing and areas to relax in.
The cockpit area is large and spacious sporting two helm wheels with a large bimini and sprayhood. She also has fully furling sunshade to give shade whilst sailing or anchored in remote and beautiful bays. You can lounge and relax in the ample but soft cushioning of the cockpit seating.
For the more energetic amoungst you the cockpit houses a fully powered winch helping to handle the large fully battened mainsail with self-tailing winches able to handle reefing and furling the large genoa foresail.
Ponyx interior gives a light and airy feel to the wide and spacious saloon. Below decks the furniture is of a quality teak wood finish with a bamboo trim to all cupboard doors. The saloon dining table can seat 10 guests on Alcan Tara cushioning to give that touch of real comfort and style.
She has accommodation for 8 guests in four equally sized spacious cabins and 1 or 2 crew within a fifth cabin. Each cabin has its own on-suite shower and heads. All cabins are well lit, spacious, fitted with air conditioning and mosquito netting for the hatches. You can enjoy quality double layered cotton / satin bed linen set on comfortable cotton covered mattreses and the luxury of thick soft towels for each guest.
The galley is equipped with a large fridge and separate freezer, an oven and three burner stove. It is also offers a good range of cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery with a fabulous range of Mediterranean herbs and an Italian espresso machine.
She has a full range of navigational aids, VHF radio and enjoys a quality multimedia sound and DVD system with a 26in flatscreen. There is also available a good connection to the internet.
Ponyx is available for superb sailing cruises along the Turkish coastline and the Greek Islands of the Dodekanese

PONYX Accommodations
S.Y. PONYxxx can accommodate 8 guests in 5 cabins. The Master cabin has a double bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a double bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a twin bed, shower and toilet. S.Y. PONYxxx is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
