We could not have been happier with our choice.  It is hard to express just how much fun we had, how relaxed we were on our return and how much we each wish we were back on the Quest today.  Thank you for all your help.  We would be very happy to speak to anyone that wants a personal recommendation. Comment on the comfort onboard Quest: All 6 guest were comfortable.  We had everything we needed and the crew was most accommodating. 

 

Comment on the condition of Quest:  The boat seemed to be very well cared for, everything clean, organized and efficient.  I cannot think of anything that we wanted that was not available.

 

Comment on the cleanliness of Quest:  Excellent, not only when we boarded, but kept clean daily.

 

Comment on the congeniality of the Captain and crew:  These two people were so friendly and engaging, we wanted to bring them home with us, certainly asked them to visit someday.

 

Comment on the service of the Captain and crew: We were very well cared for.  I know this was part of their job and something they do every day, but they really made us feel special.

 

Comment on the fun aspect of the Captain and crew:  Open to all ideas, gave us plenty of choices when we were not sure of the options.  They were both willing to engage in fun and equally adaptable to quiet time.

 

Comment on the expertise of the Captain and crew: Our crew proved to be very well trained and experienced.  We watched both crew handle the boat and the demands of sailing with ease and precision.

 

Comment on the quality of your meals:  We could not have had better meals.  All were well constructed, plated beautifully and the smells coming from the galley had us drooling all day!  

 

Comment on the presentation of your meals:  Everything was well thought out.  Presentation was not only artistic, but delivered in a way that made us all have fork in hand and anxious to sample.

What an amazing trip!!! The Smither family vacation was a huge success 

and it was all because of you two.

Your hard work and attention to detail added such an amazing level of 

joy and fun to the trip. When we arrived and shortly after had our bags 

unpacked. I was so excited. It's a small thing, but so cool and relieving.

The food was phenomenal, every meal we had was so delicious. Des put in 

some real love and effort on every dish. She is an amazing cook!

Thank you so much for the warm and inviting atmosphere. Dave, I'm going 

to miss your jokes and thoroughly enjoyed the sailing.

Thank you so much for a WONDERFUL vacation/experience. We all had a 

grand time and that was mostly because of you two.

You guys are some of the most amazingly genuine people I have ever met. 

Your warmth, hospitality & welcoming nature are heart warming & sincere, 

which brings forth feelings of such familiarity & comfort. I can't say 

enough about how much I/we have enjoyed being with you guys on the Quest.

Holy Cow! This has been the most incredible week. I cannot say enough 

positive things about this special couple (Crew) and their boat. The 

chef (Desirée) is amazing and our captain, (Dave) has such expertise 

regarding his craft. We so enjoyed our conversations and learned so much 

from them. A great joy in life is learning - thank you both for your 

great gift to us.

The water is so beautiful and I especially enjoyed the wildlife. We came 

so Bob could dive, dive and dive. He was so extra specially pleased. The 

dives were wonderful. I thank you for that!

Comment on the comfort onboard Quest:

The Questers (Captain Dave and Admiral Desiree) as I shall call them herein made us (my wife and I) feel very comfortable on board the catamaran Quest.  Appreciated the help getting on board from our hotel and following through after we returned to the hotel.



Comment on the condition of Quest:

Very nice – always well organized.  The catamaran itself and dingy were in excellent working condition with no problems.  The condition of dive related equipment was perfect.



Comment on the cleanliness of Quest:

Everything was quite clean and “ship-shape.”  The Questers kept everything clean all the time and cleaned several times a day as needed.  Beds and bathroom were always in great shape.



Comment on the congeniality of the Captain and crew:

Very congenial.  The Questers really did a wonderful job of being nice to us and were very attentive and helpful.





Comment on the service of the Captain and crew:

Impeccable.  Appreciated the “extra” bed in the lounge when we had trouble sleeping – which happens a lot at our ages (67 & 68).



Comment on the fun aspect of the Captain and crew:

Lots of fun at meals and on dives and in between.  Always kept us informed and were solicitous of our opinions, views, and needs.  The purpose of our trip was primarily to dive (scuba dive). The 10 dives themselves were progressively better and better and met the quantity and quality I hoped for. Saw lots of different marine life.  Especially enjoyed swimming with the “big fish”.



Comment on the expertise of the Captain and crew:

Expert sailors and Desiree is a wonderful chef.  Even catering to my low-carb diet, my preference for the liquor Midori, and Andrea’s preferences for white wines.  Always plenty of Diet Cokes and ice and clean glasses.  Both Questers had great expertise as Dive Masters.  Enjoyed the dive videos a lot.  The Questers worked quite well as a team.



Comment on the quality of your meals:

Very high quality meals – great presentation and more than ample size portions.  Desserts were especially good.  A lot of variety in our week of meals.



Comment on the presentation of your meals:

Great presentation both on the plates and on the dining table.

1.  Were the staff at none friendly and accommodating?

The staff, Dave & Desiree Bean, were wonderful, experienced, friendly, accommodating staff that enhanced our vacation.



2.  Was the yacht clean and in good working condition?

The Quest was in perfect condition and Dave & Desiree continuously kept it clean and comfortable all week.



3.  Was the yacht's cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient?

Desiree's meals were loved by all eight guests and we anxiously looked forward to the next meal.



4.  Was the boat well ventilated?

Yes, with portholes and fans we were comfortable day and night.



5.  Did the staff at none do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and it's equipment?

When we went aboard, lunch was served and Dave & Desiree discussed the yacht and then showed us all necessary equipment.



6.  Did you like the area you cruised?

The beautiful BVI and all islands were appreciated and enjoyed by all.



7.  Could we have helped you further in any way?

was very helpful and answered our questions as they arose.

Quest is a very comfortable Cat. This is our second time on board and we came back because it IS comfortable.  Note that we did have four couples the first time but limited it to three this time and it was better.

She was in WONDERFUL shape.   We couldn’t have been happier with the condition.

Always very clean and well kept.  Dave and Desiree keep a clean ship at all times.

Dave and Desiree were so very welcoming and so much fun to be around.  We had an absolute ball with the two of them.  I don’t think it could have been any better!

The service, like last time, was perfect.  The food AND everything that went along with the holiday was the best!

The fun?   Oh my!   I guess we could attach several hundred pictures evidencing the fun we had but that may be too much.  Captain Dave has ALL the pictures to prove it.  I doubt ANYONE has ever had more fun than our group on the Quest.

Very capable and able sailors!   We certainly NEVER felt like there was any question about any proceedures, safety or otherwise.  Very good.

The meals could not have been better.  Desiree is a WONDERFUL chef and we all thoroughly enjoyed each and EVERY meal.

Unbelievable presentation!   Supurb!!!!    Again….you should see the pictures we have!

 As we told you, the Willis's and Wisemans had a holiday on Quest in 2009. We had what was probably the best time we've ever had. We wanted to come back to the Quest because of the boat and because of the crew. The two of you absolutely did not disappoint! You made sure we had a PERFECT holiday. We felt that you honestly wanted our party to have a good time... ALL the time. You laughed with us (I hope it was WITH us and not AT us!) and you made us laugh. You gave us wonderful weather for the whole week. Desi, the food could not have been better. PERFECT!! We will come again! We can only hope the two of you will be with us. Thank you for the "NEW BEST HOLIDAY EVER"! We love you guys.

 What a beautiful and relaxing trip. It was the perfect get away from our too hectic lives back at home - and a wonderful family time. We are all so pleased with the trip. Dave is an able and entertaining Captain and Desiree is a perfect 1st Mate. Her cooking has spoiled us all. This is a very professional and caring couple and crew.  There are very few times in my life when I find it difficult to say thank you in an appropriate way...

 

 When we started talking about this trip last March I knew we were taking a chance of blowing a lot of money if things did not work out, OR, on the other side investing a lot of money on our most precious commodity - our family. We bet on the latter and took a leap of faith to create a trip for our family that would make memories for us to hold onto for the rest of our lives... AND... what happened? God shined on us like he has so very many times before and this entire experience has turned out to be the very most treasured and valued time we have ever spent together as a family. These moments, these memories, these pictures we will forever have in our hearts and in our minds cannot be put to a price - they are priceless and if I would've DREAMT in my wildest dreams that we would have met the two of you and that this trip would've meant this much to each of us, I would have paid ten times over.

 

 You are genuinely amazing people and you have astounded and blessed us every day we have been here. You are empathetic, caring, patient, kind, compassionate, and have a zest that doesn't compare. This was not luck, it was ALL prayers answered in the most incredible way ever. We thank you both so very, very, very much for everything you have done for each and every one of us, but mostly for your friendship.
