145' Jack Hargrave-designed motor yacht
Sea kindly and strong, this luxurious 145-foot private ship accommodates 10-12 guests in five beautiful staterooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and private Jacuzzis.
All five staterooms have state-of-the-art entertainment centers including flat screen satellite TV, DVD/CD, and IPods friendly systems. Two of the staterooms -- the master and the VIP stateroom -- are especially large and have king-size beds. The other three staterooms are also finely appointed, with a queen and a twin; two of these staterooms also have a pullman berth.
Very well suited for private, family, and corporate charters, RENA underwent a major refit in 2004-2005 and is in impeccable condition. She has a wide choice of sparkling new water toys for leisure-time fun (see list below), and WiFi compatibility for access to email and the Internet.
RENA offers an atmosphere of quiet elegance in the full-beam saloon, and open spacious dining room while her many outdoor spaces are wonderful for more relaxed entertaining. The large circular table on the broad covered aft deck comfortably seats 12 for meals, and this is also an especially pleasant place for cocktails. The upper deck, with its grill and bar, plus table and settees, is perfect for cookouts.
RENA is crewed by an outstanding and experienced crew of 7 who love to treat their guests to memorable theme nights, complete with costumes and delicious food.

RENA Crew Profile
Captain Ken Bracewell
Along with his extensive experience and attention to detail, Ken has continually offered his fun-loving attitude and hospitable midwestern demeanor to his guests aboard Rena for the past seven years . Whether you are looking for a private family getaway on the most secluded of beaches, or an action-packed adventure complete with theme nights, treasure hunts, and live music, Ken is sure to lead you on a custom-tailored charter during which you will be treated with the utmost care and hospitality.
Ken’s love of being on the water has been nurtured since a very young age when he began working as a crew member aboard one of his family’s cruise boats on the Great Lakes. While working for his father, he was placed in every department of the business and learned everything from catering to engineering and customer service.
Ken took a brief sabbatical from the maritime industry to study physics at Eastern Michigan University before being lured back to a career in yachting. Ken’s first command was in 1995 at the age of 23 when he oversaw the construction of an 80-foot yacht in Italy and subsequently cruised the Mediterranean then delivered it to the United States.
Ken holds a U.S. Coast Guard 1600/3000-ton license and is a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. He also holds many other certificates in diesel engineering as well as a U.S. Coast Guard certification as Medical First Aid Provider.
Chef –Kristine Howe
Krisy was born and raised in Arcadia, California. She attended the University of California, Irvine where she swam competitively. After graduating College, Krisy worked as a speech pathologist for 5 years. In pursuit of something different, Krisy decided on a career change and enrolled in the Culinary Arts Institute in Laguna, California. Since completing her culinary degree she has refined her art in private homes, restaurants such as Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, and a number of yachts. She has enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Central America and both US Coasts.
First Officer – Brett Gordon
As a native South Floridian, Brett has lived all his life around the water and naturally developed a close connection with the oceans and all they have to offer. He became interested in fishing and water sports at the age of 5 and thereafter, while traveling through the Bahamas as a young teen, he learned yachting and sport diving. It was at this point he knew that a career on the water was right up his alley.
Prior to getting into the industry he achieved a Bachelors Degree in Information Security Systems at ITT Technical Institute. Immediately following college he obtained a job as Captain aboard a 110' Yacht in Tampa, FL where he fine tuned and applied his knowledge and life experiences. Seeking to further his experience in the industry, Brett joined the team aboard Rena where he offers safety, experience, and professionalism. Brett is always up for a challenge and a good time. He currently holds a 200 Ton Yacht-Master License, Safety and Medical Certifications, and is a PADI Open Water Diver.
Chief Stewardess/Medical Officer- Kaveen Wilgus
Kaveen’s home town of Hope Island in La Conner, Washington is where the roots of her enthusiasm for exquisite service, outdoor explorations and the Ocean first budded. It was in this majestic resort town that she trained in the artistry of elegant hospitality at the famous Nell Thorn Restaurant (mentioned in “1,000 Places to See Before You die”). Snowboarding at Mt. Baker, kayaking the Snee-Oosh beach, and weekend getaways to British Columbia were all fundamental in nurturing her love of travel, which she now fuels aboard Rena. Since joining the world of yachting in 2004, Kaveen has traveled from the Pacific Northwest to the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia, with many stops along the way. Today she showers our guests with a warm-multifaceted personality, while combining her zeal for service with the promise of striving to make your experience on board the most memorable yet.
Chief Engineer- Chris (Woo-Hoo) Henderson
Chris is originally from New Zealand, the “Land of the Long White Cloud”, where he spent his childhood sailing in pursuit of his many State and National championship titles. Along the way, Chris’ father taught him that there was nothing in the world which can’t be fixed by men. Chris held this lesson dearly and has carried it with him for ten years in the yachting industry.
His good-natured personality and enthusiasm for life have led our crew to dub Chris “Woo-Hoo”, as this is his mantra as he tackles whatever task is brought his way.
Second Stewardess- Chanel MacKay
Chanel was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew to love travel early, thanks to her adventurous parents. After successfully completing a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Victoria and a Post-Graduate Degree in Marketing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, her passion to see the world led her to make the move into yacht where she is looking forward to logging some serious sea-miles onboard Rena!
Third Stewardess/Deckhand- Tia Egglestone
Tia hails from Canada, where she was raised in Alberta and attended University in British Columbia. After graduating with a degree in Psychology Tia landed a summer position aboard a 1928 luxury fishing vessel, cruising the Haida Gwaii Islands of Western Canada. After her first summer aboard she was hooked (so to speak), which prompted her to pursue a full time career in the yachting industry. We are happy to welcome her aboard Rena, which she dubs her “Happy Yachting Place”.
Deckhand – Robert Fregeolle
Born and raised in northeast New England Rob has always had an appreciation for nature and the outdoors. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Technology at Wentworth Institute of Technology he sought out a life in the world of yachting. He’ll always welcome you with a smile and is eager to assist you in any way possible.
