RM ELEGANT offers accommodation for up to 30 guests in 15 Suites with en suite facilities, 13 of these Suites converted to Kings or Twins.
With a capacity for 100 guests while at anchor and 150 guests when berthed she is undoubtedly and exceptional venue! Captain Dimitris Samolis was born in Greece and is a certified Captain Class A’-STCW 78/95. He has successfully graduated the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Mercantile Marine Seafarers School and grants experience of twenty years at sea. Only in his early forty, he has already accumulated qualifications such as the Class A’ Unlimited Certificate, the Commercial Marine Engineer Class 3 (Yacht Class 2) gaining experience overseeing many refits, plus more like the ‘Train the Trainer’ Certificate, as Instructor, Supervisor & Assessor.
In superior references from his employers Captain Dimitris has developed a significant career as a Captain on board passenger vessels and luxurious cruise ships. His vast experience of cosmopolitan and exotic places sources from a remarkable cruise in Seas of the world… Operating in both small and big units in the commercial sector of the cruise industry, Dimitris has been used to working within a dynamic and ever changing environment. His water sports interest started in a very young age as he originates from a nautical family. Two family members had been engineers, whilst some owned and operated a luxury resort in Greece. Learning all about the sea and observing quality tourism services in land, he grew up in such an environment to show finally appreciation to the highest quality standards in all tourism forms. With his knowledge, experience and moral values and gifted to administrate impeccably his crew Captain Dimitris aims to provide superior service, enjoyable and friendly time onboard the RM Elegant yacht.
On board RM Elegant mainly prides himself on keeping a safe, world-class yacht, with a competent and motivated crew ready for the challenges and pleasures of hosting guests.

Our Hotel Manager Savvas Marotos was born in Greece on March of 1964 and graduated the Hellenic
Merchant Marine Centre of Hydra as Second Officer. Progressively Savvas granted the Hellenic Ministry
of Mercantile Marine diploma of Chief Purse and certifications on the F&B, service management, PR and
Human Relations.
Savvas’ career was boosted on board the biggest cruise ships of Royal Olympic Cruise Lines & Celebrity Cruise lines as well as on board smaller boutique cruise ships with a character of a yacht.
He has directed hotel business practices, developed staff training programs guiding over 550 employees in hotel division, to thrive in a multicultural working environment, including F&B, Housekeeping, Front Desk, and Concierge. He has devised special events in order to promote services, assigned work tasks and trained personnel, handled complicated customer services and ensured total guest satisfaction. Savvas is expert in leading teams with a commitment to excellence in customer service. Experienced also in empowering teams to excel by developing their skills to their maximum potential, has been creating superior guest and employee relations by identifying issues to achieve organizational objective.
His professional integrity establishes the ‘big picture’ whilst his history is remarkable in leading, mentoring and influencing others with attributes such as values, ethics, character, knowledge and skills. Savvas has proved a hard-worker and his business intuition with his efforts have assisted hotel operations on board cruise ships reach unparalleled success.

Executive Chef: Rene Honrada Nationality: Philippine Date of Birth: November 1968

Renato, or “Rene”, is well known in the Greek professional yachting for his unique tastes coupled with award -winning menus presented annually in the competitions of the Greek Yacht show in Poros.
Skilled Culinary Professional, Rene is recognized for his comprehensive knowledge of international cuisine and innovative presentations making guests indulge in a customized dining experience.
Some of the yachts he has worked in the past, are the m/y “O’Pati”, m/y “Blue Belle”, m/y “Happy Dolphin”, m/y “Trinity II” in great success, whilst his working experience includes brand and chain hotel restaurants
and sushi restaurants. Rene creates rather some best sushi ever! Capable of combining ingredients
unusually infused, may transform fresh and quality food to mythical and tasteful dishes.
Executive Chef Rene collaborates perfectly well with the Sous Chef Yiannis and the Pastry Chef Sapto.
