RM ELEGANT offers accommodation for up to 30 guests in 15 Suites with en suite facilities, 13 of these Suites converted to Kings or Twins.
With a capacity for 100 guests while at anchor and 150 guests when berthed she is undoubtedly and exceptional venue! The RM Elegant is the perfect setting for a special occasion and thus with good reason she has become known as ‘The Party Boat’. Few charters occur without a party on board be this a birthday or some other special event. Many famous singers and bands are now regular entertainers. From MIPIM to the Grand Prix our attention to detail will ensure that your corporate event will be the talk of the show whether this is a one night event or a continuous stream of lunches, dinners and cocktails. Of course, upon a special license issuance, the yacht may facilitate over 30 guests for a coastal cruising.

The yacht is capable of cruising in the Mediterranean and worldwide destinations in grace, safety and excellent performance. The yacht is lying in Cap Ferrat during summer and in St.Marteen during winter.

Captain Dimitris Samolis             Nationality: Greek            Date of Birth: 4th May of 1972
Languages:  Greek Fluent, English Fluent

Captain Dimitris Samolis was born in Greece and is a certified Captain Class A’-STCW 78/95. He has successfully graduated the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Mercantile Marine Seafarers School and grants experience of twenty years at sea. Only in his early forty, he has already accumulated qualifications such as the Class A’ Unlimited Certificate, the Commercial Marine Engineer Class 3 (Yacht Class 2) gaining experience overseeing many refits, plus more like the ‘Train the Trainer’ Certificate, as Instructor, Supervisor & Assessor.

In superior references from his employers Captain Dimitris has developed a significant career as a Captain on board passenger vessels and luxurious cruise ships.   His vast experience of cosmopolitan and exotic places sources from a remarkable cruise in Seas of the world… Operating in both small and big units in the commercial sector of the cruise industry, Dimitris has been used to working within a dynamic and ever changing environment. His water sports interest started     in a very young age as he originates from a nautical family. Two family members had been engineers, whilst some owned and operated a luxury resort in Greece.  Learning all about the sea and observing quality tourism services in land, he grew up in such an environment to show finally appreciation to the highest quality standards in all tourism forms. With his knowledge, experience and moral values and gifted to administrate impeccably his crew Captain Dimitris aims to provide superior service, enjoyable and friendly time onboard the RM Elegant yacht.

On board RM Elegant mainly prides himself on keeping a safe, world-class yacht, with a competent and motivated crew ready for the challenges and pleasures of hosting guests.
 
Hotel Manager: Michael Chatzidakis              Nationality: Greek   Date of Birth: 8th of Dec. 1956

Our Hotel Manager Michael Chatzidakis was born in Greece and has graduated the National School of Tourism Professions. Specialized in Hotel Management extended studies afterwards to the Navy Academy for Stewards. Later he granted certificates such as from Austria Educational Centre in Advanced Hotel Operations and from Le Monde Institute of Hotel & Tourism College - affiliated with Switzerland Lodging Educational Institute, by granting the Chief Financial Officer’s Diploma, based on Hotel Management. He also attended seminars relevant to his profession such as “Crisis Management Training”, “Crowd Management & Human behavior”, “Hotel, Food & Beverage management”.

With an extensive career on board cruise ships of Royal Cruise Lines and Celebrity Cruise Lines, he had started as a Bar & Restaurant Manager and Maitre D’Hotel, to finally become the Hotel Manager on same ships. Michael has had implemented new service concepts and programs, including the launch of Concierge Class Services for 1110 rooms, has managed multicultural teams and adjusted buffet selections & themed menus to incorporate a multinational influence that enhanced appeal to international clientele. He has also orchestrated and hosted special events e.e. fashions, gala party, large group functions, private banquets for up to 2000 Guests. An excellent cook himself has had an impeccable cooperation with Chefs even in specialized cuisines, to strongly supervise all aspects of food quality & service. Consistently praised fro seamless execution and exceptional service delivery. In recent years Michael became popular in yachting world by being a Hotel Manager of charter power yachts up to 83m.

A strong background in Guest satisfaction, F&B, Finance & Staff Management, amazing references, all make Michael a wise choice to supervise now stewards and waiters’ schedules on board RM Elegant, interior cleaning & maintenance, inventory & respective accounting, and to liaise with guests regarding to the service of the meals & bar-tendering. As Hotel Cost Controller, will be ordering and scheduling of all Hotel & F&B provisions on board, calculate budget related   to the high standards of the yacht and administrate his division. Michael cooperates perfectly with our Chef Ralf, orchestrating meal services and further guests’ activities. A very charming personality, with a generous smile and a robust presence to speak a thousand words…
 
Executive Chef:  Ralf Zillger          Nationality:  German Date of Birth: 26/08/1973

Ralf was born in Germany. Attending the Culinary School of Villingen Schwenningen for cooks in Germany practiced in small hotel units and progressively to brand hotels in Europe. His career boosted when entered the cruise ship industry  including 6star cruise ships.   Ralf enriched his knowledge by adopting new techniques and learning all about food combinations,  and ingredients match. Adopting cuisines from all the world finally created his own culinary style.

Despite this and learning the value of the fresh food since young age, what he always concerns about and considers a principle when he cooks, is to deal only with the top quality food, to cook with the fresh of the fresh products.
