SANDS
This fantastic motor yacht was built in 2003 by Maiora. It is a fine example of italian design that retain the pleasure of cruising with good performance without sacrificing elegance and luxury. She is a luxurious boat designed specifically for charter, ideal for guests researching comfort and elegance.
The boat offers a large amount of space - inside and outside, developed to guarantee great onboard comfort and safety combined with the elegance of the furnishing . Every detail has been put in place to provide the highest level of luxury, comfort and class.
The fly bridge and the bow provide a unique area for pure relaxation. A fabulous fly bridge deck allows a large sunbathing area. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining salon or alfresco under the stars.
The spacious salon of this yacht was designed with the perfect cruise in mind, long and comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, separated dining area as well as state of the art audio-visual equipment throughout. The night area offers 4 cabins : double master cabin with modern furnishings, a soft seat and ensuite bathroom, vip double cabins and 2 twin cabins, 1 pullman bed in one of the twin cabin. Separated crew quarter.

SANDS1 Crew Profile
Captain: Gualberto Passaglia, 57 y.o., Italian.
Gualberto has more than 20 years of professional boating experience and has been Captain onboard Sands for more than 8 years. Gualberto is a very competent, knowledgeable and proficient Captain and has a great deal of know-how with respect to marine engines and related mechanical parts. He has been enlisted for the Italians army in the Coastguard. He started his career on Charters since 1984, sailing all Mediterranen Sea and Pacific Ocean. Gualberto holds all the courses for Charter and is registered in Viareggio, in the I ° class with the qualification of Captain. He is a certified diver, holding OPEN WATER DIVER PADI. He has outstanding managerial skills and is a very outgoing and loves dealing with people who love the sea.
Chef: Gianluca Armonico, 44 y.o., Italian
Gianluca has been at sea for over 10 years. In 1995 Gianluca joined the yachting industry and worked on several motor yachts such as KITALPHA and SPIZZ 4. He is Deckhand on “Sands” since 2003. Gianluca loves cooking. Very patient, helpful and friendly, Gianluca is a master of hospitality. He speaks Italian and English.
Deckhand: Francesco Finelli, 27 y.o., Italian T.B.C.
Francesco studied at the Nautical Institute in Pizzo Calabro, a little village on the sea in the South of Italy.
He spent a few years on ships and commercial vessels before he made the transition to super yachts. Francesco joined SANDS at the start of the winter 2010 season. With his hard working nature and affable personality, Francesco is a welcome addition to the team. Francesco likes swimming, water sports and travelling.
He speaks Italian and basic English.

SANDS1 Accommodations
SANDS1 can accommodate 9 guests in 4 cabins. The Master cabin has a double bed, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a double bed, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a twin bed, a pullman, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a twin bed, shower and toilet. SANDS1 is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
