SARITA OF IKEN Crew Profile

Andrew and Patience were born and raised in the North of England. They have been together for over 13 years and have recently married. Together they have an extensive knowledge of the charter industry, the level of professionalism and service that is expected by guests on board a sailing yacht.

Andrew is a Yacht Master with MCA commercial endorsement obtained in 2008. Since then he has cruised the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas and the North Atlantic coastlines building his knowledge of idyllic anchorages and blue water sailing. He loves all outdoor pursuits and amongst other things he is a qualified ski instructor and Dive Master. He feels truly at home in the water leading snorkeling expeditions and being a keen fisherman will endeavor to provide fresh fish whenever possible. Mono skiing and wake boarding are his favorite water sports and with a natural teaching ability he is able to provide helpful instruction. Andrew is looking forward to welcoming future guests onboard Sarita, providing them with a safe, yet exhilarating cruise in some of the world’s most picturesque locations.

Patience is a creative, enthusiastic and hardworking chef with a passion for food. She has a wealth of experience within the culinary world dishing up her delicacies in exclusive Scottish and African lodges, French villas, busy restaurants and private parties. Before taking to the water she was managing the accommodation, catering and guest welfare at a boutique hotel in Zanzibar. Prior to Sarita, Patience was a chef aboard two 180ft sailing yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. When Patience escapes the galley she loves to refresh her Dive Master qualification. Whilst away from the ocean she enjoys riding, hiking and skiing in the mountains.

Andrew and Patience are joined by a third crew member as a mate/stew. Together with the combined knowledge, experience and enthusiasm the crew of Sarita will provide the capable team that is essential for a safe and fun sailing adventure.
