
Captain: Christian Goodin Sea Angel’s new skipper is Christian Goodin, 38, British. He holds an RYA Yacht Master Ocean license and has logged over 60,000 miles in British, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean waters. A (partial) list of boats he has worked on includes: Sapphire - 86’ Belliure, Anemos -112’ Swan, Chimera -104’ Alloy Yachts sloop, Foftein -106’ Royal Huisman and two classic yachts – Blue Leopard & Casseopeia, 112’ and 124’ respectively. Captain Goodin earned a City & Guilds 2440 Marine Craft Fitter’s Certificate, completed at Distinction Level. This course of training incorporates theory as well as engineering projects with practical work in all marine systems and components. In short, he can trouble shoot and repair just about everything onboard. He is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and has Medic First Aid training. Whether on land, on or under the water, Captain Goodin enjoys sports and outdoors activities. Exploratory diving, rafting, mountain biking, motorcycle touring, camping and playing squash are his favorite pastimes. Thanks to a three-year stint as diving guide and operations manager of four diving resort centers in Zanzibar, Tanzania, he has some interesting tales to tell. Stewardess Linda Cesario is 34 and hails from Ottawa, Canada. She taught French in an international school in Saint Martin for two years and is fluent in English, French and Italian. Her flair for communicating and developing new relationships and her bubbly, vivacious character make her a hit with just about everyone. Linda takes pride in everything she does. Mate David Capron, a 26 year old American, is serious about advancing his career in yachting. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Marine Biology in 2003 and has worked on motor yachts up to 163 feet since April 2006. David has already earned his International Yachtmaster 200 Ton License, is a PADI Divemaster and STCW 95 Certified.
David’s long time interests in sailing and scuba diving led him to earn his Bachelors of Science degree in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island as well as achieve certifications as a PADI Divemaster and Master of Yachts Offshore 200T. His experience as a deckhand on 163’ to 92’ motoryachts has afforded him the opportunity to utilize his technical skills as well as enjoy assisting guests with all their recreational outdoor activities be it sailing, scuba diving or fishing.
