SEAGULL II Crew Profile

Captain: Branko Kovacic / Croatian



Captain Branko Kovacic was born in 1967 in Split, Croatia. After completing high school in Zagreb, Croatia in 1986, he went on to graduate from the Naval Academy in Split in 1990 and Maritime College Rijeka, Croatia-Faculty of Nautics in 1992.

Captain Kovacic has gained vast maritime experience which began in 1990 on large commercial vessels ranging from tankers, to tugs to jet propelled high speed catamarans.

In 1996, he gained his master licence. Since 2007, captain Kovacic has completed more than 600 manoeuvres per year, on vessels such as 300m war ships, 270m passenger ships, submarines, containers, ferries and more. Prior to joining SEAGULL II, captain Kovacic was employed as the captain for new ships delivered in Split. His incredible wealth of knowledge in ship handling is highly regarded and a valuable asset to the hand selected crew aboard the classic luxury yacht SEAGULL II.



Chief Officer / Ch. Purser: TOMISLAV Buljubašiæ/Croatian

 

Age: 23 Croatian Tomislav was born in the city of Split, Croatia. After completing High School, he went on to study Management, with emphasis on International Business and Business Administration at Webster University in Vienna. During this time, he also obtained his captain licence. Tomislav has been working on board luxury yachts since 2008. His experience in the hotel and yacht industries, as well as enthusiastic approach and high level of professionalism, earned him a promotion to Chief Officer and Chief Purser aboard SEAGULL II. Tomislav ensures a truly memorable luxury charter experience aboard SEAGULL II. Tomislav is fluent in English, he enjoys sailing and all water sports.

 

Chief Engineer: Enriquito Banes Marcelo / Philippines

 

Enriquito was born in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. He holds a degree in Marine Engineering and has been aboard SEAGULL II since 1994. He is hardworking, a fast learner and a team player. With all his skills combined, he will make your stay on board safe and very pleasant. He is “crazy” about water sports and sailing! He speaks English fluently.

 

Chef: Ivan Pazanin / Croatian

 

Ivan was born in Split into a family with a long culinary tradition. Having been raised in such an environment, he had the opportunity to learn from the best masters of Croatian Cuisine. He completed his degree at the Culinary and Tourism School at Split, Croatia in 2002 and has been employed as a chef ever since. After only 5 years of work experience, he was promoted to Chef de Cuisine. He has never ceased learning and is constantly improving his skills.

Ivan has previously worked as a Head Chef in restaurant Grbelja (Sukosan, Croatia), restaurant Marina (Palmizana, Croatia), restaurant Lvxor (Split, Croatia). In 2010, Ivan joined SEAGULL II.

Ivan is very professional and favours the Mediterranean cuisine for its use of fresh and healthy ingredients. He is creative in both cooking and presentation, he always strives to exceed guests' expectations. Ivan is a good and reliable person and we are honoured to count him as a member of our team. He speaks English fluently.

 

2nd Mate: Arnold Chavez Anajeo / Philippines

 

Arnold was born in the province of San Ricardo, Southern Leyte, Philippines. He obtained a degree in Marine Transportation from the University of Visayas. Arnold has been sailing since 1994 on a variety passenger vessels and luxury yachts. He is hardworking, willing to learn and a team player. With all his skills combined, he will make your stay aboard SEAGULL II safe and very pleasant. Arnold is an extreme sports enthusiast. He speaks English fluently.

 

Head Steward: Jake Mark Naldoza Nieves / Philippines

 

Jake was born and raised in Miagao, Iloilo, Philippines. He is 24 years old and is a graduate of Midwifery at Iloilo Doctors` college, Iloilo city. He has also successfully completed training in Housekeeping and Hotel operations at St.Therese Mtc Colleges. His work experience includes working at the Highway 21 Hotel, situated in Iloilo city and the passenger ship M/V Regina della Pace. He has a generous personality, good communication skills and is a hardworking and a very flexible person. His main concern is quality in all aspects of service and guest satisfaction.

He speaks English fluently. Working aboard SEAGULL II II is a dream come true!

 

Head Stewardess: Clyde Marie E. Simo / Philippines

 

Clyde grew up in Ozamiz City, Philippines. She has a degree in Physical Therapy, and has attended various training programmes in housekeeping and hotel operations. She worked as a steward on the M/V SUPERFERRY, a shipping company in the Philippines for 2 years. Clyde then joined SEAGULL II, she demonstrated excellent skills in dealing with people and customer relations from the very beginning. Clyde is a friendly, outgoing and a very hardworking person. With her calm nature and brightness, she will endeavour to make your stay aboard SEAGULL II, memorable and comfortable. She enjoys sea sports such as swimming, diving. She speaks English fluently.

 

Stewardess: Glennie Ann A. Laron / Philippines

 

Glennie Ann grew up in Laguna Philippines. She has a Diploma in Food and Beverage Services. Her work experience includes 5 years in the hotel and restaurant industry, after which she joined the luxury yacht charter industry. She is highly motivated and knows the importance of good service. She is calm, relaxed and works well under pressure. Glennie enjoys taking care of others, always with a charming smile on her face. Her interests include music, reading books, travelling and exploring the world. She speaks English fluently.

 

Stewardess: Jenice Pediongco / Philippines

 

Jenice was born on Boac, Marinduque, Philippines. She is a college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism, from the Centro Escolar University. She is the youngest in a family of travel enthusiasts, and  loves learning new languages. She has a good sense of humour and is very easy – going. Jenice has two previous years’ experience as a stewardess, working on cruise ships and has now been on board SEAGULL II for two years. She is responsible for serving food and drinks to the guests, working closely with the rest of the crew ensuring dedicated service. She speaks fluent English.

The Master cabin has a queen size bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a queen size bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a twin bed, shower and toilet. A VIP Rooms cabin has a queen size bed, shower and toilet. A 2nd Master Cabin cabin has a queen size bed, bath/tub, shower and toilet. SEAGULL II is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
