

Captain - Andrew Barton
Captain Andrew ("Andy") has enjoyed the experience of working in a variety of positions, from Marina Manager to Captain, which has given him a well-rounded understanding of the yachting industry. Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, and a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Andrew enjoys being on the water, and is most comfortable at the helm. He is easy going, friendly, loves meeting people, sharing his experiences, and welcomes charter guests. Andrew has cruising experience in the Caribbean, Bahamas, Florida, New England and the Great Lakes. In addition, his certifications include USCG 200 Ton Master, STCW 95, MCA Approved Engine Course, and is a PADI Open Water Diver. Besides fishing, he also enjoys golf, sports, and other outdoor activities.
Previously, Andrew has worked as a First Mate on LENORA D, 104' Cheoy Lee, ENTREPRENEUR, 110' Broward, and MURPHY’S LAW, 124' Delta, before taking on the role as Captain of the LENORA D, 65' Grand Alaskan for a former employer. Andrew has been the Captain of both the former, and the new SEAS THE MOMENT since 2008.
Deck / Mate - Elizabeth Andrews
Elizabeth is the newest member of the SEAS THE MOMENT team. Hailing from North Carolina, she attended University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, Public Relations, and a Minor in Violin Performance. Elizabeth is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, enjoys watersports, yoga and running. In her spare time, she can be found curled up with a good book or in the galley baking. Regardless of what Elizabeth is doing, you will always find her doing it with a smile.
Chef - Steven Ferneding
Chef Steven is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in International Business and Communications. He started his yachting career in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico working on sport fishing vessels and sailboats. He then attended The Le Cordon Bleu where he graduated at the top of his class, with honors, certified in SERVSAFE's Food Protection and earned a degree in Culinary Arts. Since then he has completed the STCW 95' and Powerboat Level 2 course and worked on a variety of mega yachts which have taking him around the world. Steven is currently expanding his yachting knowledge in hopes of one day becoming a Captain.
Stewardess - Sara Tyler
Sara was born in CA and raised in MO. She moved to NY to attend New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. While studying she began working in the hospitality industry where here natural knack for customer service was evident. Sara has always loved to travel so after graduating she backpacked through Europe, Greece, and parts of Japan. With 9 years of hospitality experience Sara decided to combine her love of travel with her customer service background and pursue a career in the yachting industry. When not working, Sara enjoys making jewelry and learning French.
