Operating in the Caribbean and the East Coast of North America

Serenity is a Jeanneau 64 yacht dedicated to providing a custom tailored experience for you and your guests. Whether you want remote sandy beaches, water sports, gourmet dining at anchor or the famous local social scene, every day is individually planned by our staff to create your optimal vacation. Serenity's layout is designed around your cruising comfort with abundant areas to either relax, grab some private time or entertain. All of her cabins are luxuriously decorated, with state-of-the-art amenities for you and your guests. The professional and experienced crew is there to tend to the needs of guests across all ages, from personalized gourmet meals, to a day of action-packed adventures.

Serenity provides the perfect sailing experience for a family holiday or a group of couples. Serenity’s layout comfortably sleeps 3 couples in its 3 cabins with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a comfortable twin bunk room which sleeps two additional passengers. All cabins have their own air conditioning and amenities. The owner’s cabin is furnished with a queen bed while the guest cabins have double-sized beds.

One of the benefits of chartering is that there is not a set itinerary and that as long as the weather is accommodating, you have the freedom to choose where and when you sail. You can spend your time learning to sail or you can just relax and enjoy the trip. Whether you want to island hop, from Tortola to Virgin Gorda, or simply anchor off a deserted beach, Serenity will see that your needs are met.

Crew Profile

Captain: Travis Firth

Travis grew up on the water. He started by splashing around in the waters of Port Phillip Bay in Australia. Before he could walk he was surfing along the rugged and beautiful coast line of the Mornington Peninsula. His love and affiliation for the ocean naturally evolved into working as a Marine Engineer.

Travis left Australia with $42 in his pocket in pursuit of a career in the yachting industry. He started off working in Newport on Swans as a technician in exchange for food, a cabin top over his head and a cold beer at the end of the day. He paid his dues by starting in the bilges and progressively worked his way up the Yachting ladder to become the youngest Captain to run a yacht over 100ft.

For the past 15 years Travis has been chartering and cruising extensively through the Caribbean, East Coast and West Coast of the U.S, Mediterranean and the Pacific on both motor and sailing yachts.

Travis brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Serenity and his goal is to ensure guests have a memorable, relaxing and extraordinary experience onboard. His number one priority is fulfilling and exceeding the expectations guests naturally would expect from chartering in the Caribbean and New England.

Chef Mate: Natasha Mcakesey

Natasha was born and raised in Ontario, Canada where she completed her Journalism degree while becoming a certified Health & Safety Representative and a Sports Nutrition Consultant.

Her passion of fitness and the outdoors drew her to the Rocky Mountains of Canada where she could be found creating holistic nutrition and fitness plans, exploring the backcountry, paddle boarding, hiking, volunteering and continuously planning her next adventure to get closer to the sea.

With 15 years experience in the hospitality industry, Natasha offers a multitude of skills including a keen eye for detail, strong work ethic and a desire to make your time on board Serenity a warm and relaxing experience for you to always remember.

Serenity offers guests an sparkling master aft queen berth suite, and two double berth suites forward, all with onsite head and bath.  An optional cabin with upper & lower single berths is also available.

Our Once in a Lifetime

I don’t even know where to begin.  This was the trip of a lifetime for my husband, my two children and myself.  From the moment we arrived at Village Cay to board Serenity till the moment we were back at the ferry dock to head home to the states, we were treated like royalty.  When we arrived, we were greeted with open arms and warm, inviting smiling faces from our crew, Travis – our Captain and Natasha, first mate and chef extraordinaire.   We were shown around the vessel and our quarters for the week.   We unpacked and relaxed and were asked if we needed or wanted anything.  We were so spoiled for the week.  When someone loves what he/she does, it is not considered work.  You can see that Travis and Natasha love what they do.  Travis’ knowledge of the British Virgin Islands is exemplary.  He showed us the best places to snorkel and to visit.  We snorkeled in the caves at Norman Island (which I loved the best) at Peter Island and at Cooper Island.  We went to Virgin Gorda where we had a picnic lunch at The Baths – so very beautiful.  We learned about the boat – the Bow, Stern, Port Side and Starboard Side.  We learned that the little boat used to bring you closer to shore is called a Tender.   We learned so much about the islands, as well.  Thank you, Travis, for your expertise.  And, thank you for speaking to the Weather Gods before we got there to give us such calm water and beautiful weather. And, thank you Natasha, for your expertise in the galley. Not only were our meals delicious; they were healthy as well.  Natasha’s breakfast parfaits and smoothies, red snapper over a coleslaw salad over quinoa (Natasha told me it’s all about texture – and it sure was), mid-afternoon cheese and meat platters with crackers and fruit, pita with sundried tomatoes, shrimp and pesto with sriracha sauce, lunchtime salads, just to mention a few meals, all left my family wanting this at home.  Thank you, Natasha, for sharing your recipes with me.  I will try to duplicate them, but cannot guarantee they will be the same.  You put so much love in each meal and planned so well for us.  We will always reminisce with happy memories of this trip and hope to see Travis and Natasha again, two people who passed through our lives that I would like to call “forever friends”.  – The Iaconettis , January 2017

My husband and I, along with our two teenage sons, spent a magical week aboard the graceful Serenity.  From the moment we arrived, Captain Travis and Chef Tina made us feel welcome and comfortable.  They seemed to anticipate our every need.  They even took notice of our favorite foods and drinks and made sure that we had plenty of everything.  We sailed from Tortola, visiting Jost Van Dyke, Cooper Island, Salt Island, Virgin Gorda and Anegada before returning to Tortola at the end of the week.  Each Island had its own unique character and beauty.  Each day brought a new adventure and new sights to see. Captain Travis was an expert at finding the best, most tranquil spots to drop anchor for a restful night.  The boys loved when he took them tubing behind the high speed jet boat.  We all enjoyed hearing about Travis’ travels and adventures.  He is a gifted storyteller, and a skilled Captain.  We never had to worry about a single detail.  Serenity is a gorgeous, brand new sailboat with graceful lines and comfortable staterooms.  She has all the modern amenities one could wish for.  We had expected to have to compromise our comfort while aboard a sailboat, but this was not the case aboard the Serenity.  With four bathrooms and more than enough of room for all of us, we had plenty of privacy.  The air-conditioned cabin was a welcome respite, and the room darkening shades in the staterooms had us each sleeping like a baby.  The water pressure in the showers was surprisingly good, and we never ran out of hot water.  We will never forget our amazing vacation aboard the Serenity, and hope to return again soon! - The Bartels, March 2016
