SERENITY II Crew Profile
Captain:
Nigel Marrison, 38, Nationality: British. Master 3000GRT
Nigel has worked in yachting for 12 years and has been sailing since he was a child. He has completed a
circumnavigation and several ocean passages, cruised extensively in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. He has a
diverse knowledge of cruising areas, and can provide an itinerary to cater for all your needs.
Mate:
Ercan Kasarc?, 30, Nationality: Turkish.
He was born in ?stanbul and grew up in Bosphorus, and studied at the Nautical College in ?stanbul.
He started to build his career as a Radio Officer on commercial navy in 2001. He has been in yachting since
2004. Hobbies include photography and diving. Ercan is fluent in English.
Chief Engineer:
Sertan Ural, 32 Nationality: Turkish
Sertan is from Istanbul. He is a qualified Commercial Chief Engineer 3000KW, and studied at the Istanbul
Technical University. After working for more than 6 years on Bulk carriers and Chemical tankers, he has since
worked as project manager at Peri Yachts in Antalya, and Chief Engineer for 4 years with Rixos Yachting.
Chief Stewardess:
Derya Uzuntepe, 30 Nationality: Turkish
Derya started her career in yachting 11 years ago as a manager in a sailing yacht charter company. Her career has
since grown, and over the past 5 years Derya has gained much experience in service and interior management.
Other attributes include wine knowledge and cocktail making, which will ensure you will have superb
experience on board Serenity II. Derya is fluent in English as well as Turkish.
Stewardess:
Yelis Islek, 28 Nationality: Turkish.
Liz is from Antalya, and has gained excellent experience working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line as
Stewardess. Since then she has spent 3 years on various yachts, gaining further experience and brings excellent
service/wine knowledge together with excellent client relations. Turkish native tongue, fluent English and basic
German.
Chef:
Gohkan Gultekin, 34 Nationality: Turkish
Gohkan is originally from Izmir, he has worked for 10 years as chef on private and charter yachts. He comes to
Serenity II having completed 4 years on a successful charter yacht and brings a wide knowledge and experience
of cuisine from many corners of the world whilst still retaining his roots of Turkish cuisine.
Deckhand:
?brahim Erdal, 27, Nationality: Turkish.
Ibo was born in Mersin. He has been working on Gulets since he was 17. He spent 10 years of traveling around
the South Coast of Turkey. He is a qualified seaman and diver. He speaks Turkish and English.
Deckhand:
Ramazan Omak, 31, Nationality: Turkish
He is from Bodrum. He took the opportunity to join the yacht industry in 2009 after studied 2 years on Arabic
Literature and Language in Libya. Ramazan’s biggest interest is world cuisine. Turkish native tongue, English
and Arabic.

The Master cabin has a king size bed, shower and toilet.
2 VIP cabins have a king size bed, shower and toilet.
A Guest cabin has a king size bed, a single bed, shower and toilet.
A Guest cabin has a king size bed, shower and toilet.
A Owners Launch with sofabed, shower and toilet
SERENITY II is fully air conditioned through out.
Crew has a separate heads and shower.
