Captain – Steve Feldman, 41, from Long Island New York but a resident of Florida for 17 years. He has been an avid boater for most of his life, his passion is his ‘Go Fast’ boat spending many weekends with other boaters in central Florida. Captain Steve has been with Starship since 2003 and has been working with the owner since 1997. Steve ensures that any charter or event will run smoothly from start to finish.

Engineer – Darren Walker, 39, has been a resident of Florida for most of his life. Darren loves to fish, 4 wheel and spend time in the mountains with his son Chad. He has been a marine engineer for many years and has been working with Starship for over 5. If anything breaks down or needs to be repaired rest assured Darren will have it fixed in a jiffy.

Chief Stewardess -Teresa Garrison is originally from the deserts of Scottsdale, AZ.  After high school her adventurous nature and love of the ocean took her to the University of Hawaii where she studied Marine Science and Geology.  After graduation she spent years working at resorts across the Southwest and Southern California including the 5 Diamond Lodge at Torrey Pines.  Teresa's love of the ocean and travel got the best of her and she has now been in the yachting profession for over five years.  When not working she loves to read, go to the beach, or just jump on a plane to whatever fun destination she thinks of.

First Officer - Henry Streeter, 26, from Pretoria, South Africa. Henry completed a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 2005. After which, he studied Spanish and traveled South America for several months. Henry has been in the yachting industry since 2006. He is an avid fisherman, photographer and water sport enthusiast.

Stewardess - Tegan Shearer, South African, born 1989. Tegan has been working on yachts for 19 months, she made the transition from SCUBA instructor to stewardess in 2009 and has not looked back. She is a certified Dive Instructor with a love for the outdoors. Tegan is friendly, hard working and loves to throw on a wig and a funny outfit and get silly with the best.

Chef – Mitchell Davis, From New Orleans LA. Mitchell has a 17 year history in yachting, winning the prestigious Antigua boat show Chefs competition in 2002 and 2003. Before yachting he trained and worked in New Orleans and the Bahamas for 12 years. His last position there was with the Orient express owned Windsor Court Hotel where he was the executive Sous Chef in the early 1990s. At that time we were the number one rated hotel restaurant in the US.

2nd Stewardess – Nicci Warsheur, was born and brought up in Florida and spent her life in or around the ocean. She’s active, fun and enjoys kite boarding, paddle boarding, diving and other activities in and out the water. She has been in the yachting industry for 4 years and has cruised the Med, the Bahamas and South Florida. She looks forward to spending this winter season in the Caribbean aboard Starship.

Deck – Thomas Layard, South African from Worcester a small town in the wine country, 1 hours outside of Cape Town. He has been working in the yachting industry for 2 years and for the past 5 months he has been working on board M/Y Starship working on Deck. He enjoy lots of travelling and likes being on the water and finds that yachting fulfills that desire.

Bosun – Jeff Martel, 29, a French Canadian originally from Quebec, but now a citizen of the seven seas, this gentleman loves Nutella almost more than his girlfriend Caroline. He has been serving on various yachts since 2002. Jeff studied business and also spent many years as a sailing teacher on the lakes of Canada. He is very likely to be found anywhere outside, ready to take you diving, snorkeling or any other sport that may involve water!
