She's sleek, fast (two 125hp Yanmar Turbo engines) & super modern and has every toy guests dream about: from diving for 8 (including 3 U/W Seadoos), surfboards, funboard, kiteboard, Penn International reels, 2 fighting chairs right down to underwater LED lighting for fish watching and night swimming. There's even air-conditioned outdoor dining!

Sleeps 6 In 3 Cabins

TARA VANA can accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins.
The Master cabin has a queen size bed, shower and toilet.
2 Guest cabins have a queen size bed, shower and toilet.
TARA VANA  is fully air conditioned through out.  The voltage onboard is 110 volts.  Smoking is allowed on deck. crew does not smoke  TARA VANA´s crew has a separate companionway, heads and shower. Guests are not allowed to bring pets onboard.

TARA VANA Crew Profile

Captain Richard Russ (‘Capt. Rick’), has over 20 years international maritime experience. A former Merchant Marine, his experience and knowledge mean greater peace of mind for his guests. He is also a certified PADI Divemaster. Rick is from Jacksonville, Florida and his only love beside Miss, his family and life on the water is SEC football! (ps: He’s also been called the ‘Captain of Darkness’ because he enjoys the peace and beauty of sailing at night).

Mate/Chef Miss is a Southern chef who loves Caribbean food! The end result: versatility and the best of all worlds. ‘Fresh ingredients and healthy eating’ is her motto. Mate Miss spent a great deal of her life on the Cape Fear coast and never met a fish (or crustacean, for that matter) she didn’t like. When she’s not busy in the galley or assisting The Captain, she’s a mom and writer, working on a book/cookbook that will chronicle their adventures on the water.

Both Captain and Mate find their happiness in and on the turquoise
waters of the Caribbean, watching the delight and surprise of their
guests as they discover each hidden treasure and experience the joy of the local culture.
