TIGERS EYE Crew Profile

Captain: Steve Eggen
Steve hails from Wisconsin. Before getting into the yachting industry Steve worked extensively on the Mississippi, Illinois and Chicago rivers, first as deckhand, engineer and later as towboat captain and captain of several commercial operations along the Tombigbee Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico.
He discovered the yachting industry in the mid 90's and has traveled extensively along the US East Coast and in the Bahamas. He is looking forward to giving his charter guests an enjoyable and memorable charter experience on board Tigers Eye.
First Mate: William Kirsch
Bill is a graduate of New England Maritime and holds a 100 ton masters license. He has worked in the yachting industry since May of 2007. Bill is family oriented and likes spending time with them when he can. Some of his hobbies are golf, pool, jet skiing, fishing, non fiction books, writing, good coffee and traveling. He loves having charter guests and board and making their stay memorable.
Chef: Bibi Martinek (freelance)*
For the last six years Bibi has worked on a freelance basis as a Private Chef on mega yachts and private estates all over the world. She has cultivated professional relationships with many clients in South Florida, Bahamas and US east coast, providing organic, healthy cuisine from intimate dinner parties, interactive cooking classes to high end events.
Stewardess: JoAnn (Red) Barber (freelance)*
JoAnn was born and raised near Toronto, Canada and later moved to the Canadian Rockies to build and run her own business whilst enjoying downhill and heli-skiing at her doorstep. Though very enjoyable, the lure of crystal waters and sunshine took her to the Virgin Islands for a few years of graphic design and pleasure yachting. After one too many hurricanes, she moved to Ft. Lauderdale in '95 and began her involvement with the megayacht industry. JoAnn's love of people, travel and entertaining together with her boundless energy, enthusiasm and positive outlook make her a natural for this industry and thus her guests.
* Tigers Eye works with several highly qualified free lance chefs and stewardesses Bibi or Red are not available at the time of your charter.

TIGERS EYE Testimonials
It all went beautifully and they were very happy. It was great working with Josh too and I look forward to the next one.
Debra Blackburn Boggio
Perfection. Our crew, Rick, and crew were absolutely delightful. They met us in the lobby and walked us to the boat. They were friendly and very professional. They treated my Mother in Law like a queen. Chef Jonas did an impeccable job with everything. The food was not only delicious, but beautifully and artfully displayed. I would hire him in a minute if I lived in Ft. Lauderdale. It was as the birthday girl said, "the best day of my life." We chose the perfect gift and the perfect boat.
Kudos to you all!
