Captain: Ben Turner


Ben is from Dover, England and spent his youth sailing in the English Channel and Mediterranean. He later went on to study at Kingston University where he joined the 10th Battalion Parachute Regiment.
In 1997 Ben achieved his Yachtmaster Offshore and entered into the motor yacht industry, with his first position as Relief Mate aboard M/Y Turmoil. Since then Ben has advanced through the ranks working with a number of highly respected Captains and yachts in the industry. Prior to joining M/Y Time For Us, he was Chief Officer aboard the 235ft (72 Metre) Feadship, Utopia. He served as 1st mate and other positions on the charter yachts Azzurra II, Andiamo, Monte Carlo and Big City. Ben currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL with his wife Kathy and son, Max.
Ben has cruised extensively, logging over 200,000 nautical miles and made several Atlantic crossings. Aside from yachting Ben enjoys golf, running, surfing and spending time with his family.


Chief Mate: Mark Pearce (“Red”)


Red was born and bred in Sydney, Australia. Prior to yachting he worked on ferries and skippered water taxis in Sydney Harbour. With a passion for the outdoors and traveling, Red started working in the motor yacht industry in 2004. In 2006 Red achieved his Officer of the Watch license and joined Time For Us. He enjoys golf, scuba diving and wakeboarding.


Chef: Eleonora Kramer


Eleonora was born in Landshut, Germany. She has completed her Masters in cooking and has been a chef for 18 years. Eleonora has working on yachts since 2001. With her extensive experience in cooking she is able to cater to any guests needs both dietary and culinary preferences. She enjoys reading, biking and skiing.


Chief Engineer: Hedley Pearce


Hedley was born in Clinton, New Zealand. He was brought up on boats and has lived aboard one till the age of eight. His father is a farmer and marine engineer. Hedley has been in yachting industry since 1999. Time off is spent mountain biking, Kite surfing and paragliding.


Assistant Engineer: Neville Junkin


Neville Junkin was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada. He grew up sailing on Canada's east coast from a young age. After graduating from High School he sailed to the Caribbean to pursue sailing and ultimately yachting on a more full time basis and to explore as much of the world as possible. After several years and three different yachts working on deck, Neville decided to make a change to the engineering side of yachting. After several short term positions, moved on to M/Y Time for Us as the Assistant Engineer. Later Neville plans to follow engineering into university after discovering a passion for it and also to continue traveling for the indefinite future.



Bosun: JJ Alty


JJ comes from Hobart, Australia. He was involved successfully in the hospitality business, in which he competed and won a national flair and cocktails competition. With a love for the hospitality business and travel JJ decided to start a career in the super yacht industry. He enjoys skiing, wakeboarding and playing guitar.


Deckhand: Toni Haapala


Toni was born in Finland and now resides in Sweden. He completed national service with the Finnish Army and shortly after trained and worked as an electrician. Whilst researching other careers on the internet Toni found information on the super yacht industry. Travel being one of Toni’s loves, he decided to travel to America in 2007 where he started his yachting career on Time For Us. Toni enjoys running and riding motor cycles.


Deckhand: Ryan Wilson


Ryan was born and grew up in Indiana, just outside of Chicago. He graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a BA in graphic design, but developed a love for working on the water when accepting a job on a small cruise ship in Alaska in 2004, and has been working various maritime positions ever since. Some of Ryan's major life enjoyments include travel, meeting new people, cubs baseball and golfing with his dad. His favorite port of call is Venice, Italy.



Chief Stewardess: Cristina Gomes


Cristina was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Prior to yachting she was in the corporate environment and has a Diploma in Marketing Management. Her desire for travel and adventure saw her entering the yachting industry in 1999. Since then she has worked on yachts with exceptional itineraries and seen unusual sites which have taken her to the far ends of the earth. She has photographed her experiences and has developed a love for photography which she wishes to continue with into the future. Apart from traveling and photography, Cristina enjoys the outdoors, sports and meeting people from different cultures.

Stewardess: Cornelia Oosthuizen


Cornelia was born and raised in the South-Western Cape region of South Africa and spent the last ten years of her life in the United States. She holds a BA degree in Food & Beverage Service Management from Johnson & Wales University. Her initial interest in sailing piqued whilst studying and living in Providence, Rhode Island. She joined the maritime industry in April of 2008 and is looking forward to see where her love for travel and worldly cultures will take her.

Stewardess: Annie Eisenbraun


Annie, while having been born in the Midwest in Davenport, Iowa, grew up in the Northern Virginia and Maryland areas outside of Washington, D.C. However, school took her south where she attended College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Sciences in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, Annie taught 5th and 6th grade for three years before joining the yachting industry in 2005. Annie enjoys exploring new landscapes and cultures.

Stewardess/Sous Chef: Iwona Tomaszewska




Iwona is from Poland and has been working in the yachting industry for since 2005. Before joining her first motor yacht, Iwona worked on a Swedish ferry between Poland and Sweden. In Poland Iwona completed her Master of Economy. However traveling and exploring the world was always her passion. In her spare time she enjoys reading, biking, going to movies and shopping.

Stewardess/Massage Therapist: Tammy Freeman





Tammy is originally from Christchurch, New Zealand but has lived in Queensland, Australia for the last eleven years. She has worked in the hospitality industry since 1996 and decided in 2003 to a study and work in massage therapy and beauty therapy. Tammy loves the outdoors spending summers enjoying surfing, horse riding and fishing. Tammy has only recently started working in the yachting industry joining Time For Us early 2008.
