TRILOGY Crew Profile
Captain Mike Witters:
Captain since 1990, Mike holds a 3000 ton US master’s license. His experience reaches from crossing through Panama into Mexico, to sailing the waters of Australia, and circumnavigating the Bahamas/Caribbean, the U.S. East Coast and the Mediterranean. He loves adventure, and history and has and incredible knowledge of the areas he has cruised. Mike is always delighted to answer questions and share stories. He has been the captain on board Trilogy for the past 9 years.
Quick with smiles and terrifically attentive, making sure his guests have whatever they want; Mike is not only a veteran of the industry but continues to be fascinated and passionate about meeting new guests. He will always make his guests feel at home on board Trilogy.
Mike enjoys sharing his stories, a game of poker, taking his guests golfing and showing them all his favorite places.
First Mate: Hunter Tyrrell
Hunter grew up in New York and and went to school in New England. He is a recent graduate of the Chapman School of Seamanship in Florida and his goal is to become a captain. He is a trained EMT/Fire fighter and started working on board yachts in Hyannis and Nantucket. Hunter is an excellent team worker with good hospitality skills and a great asset to Trilogy’s crew.
Stewardess/Sous Chef: Lyndsey Washburn
Hailing from the Pacific Northwest with roots in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, Lindsey has a strong affinity for outdoor activities. Sailing in Puget Sound (starting at age 3 weeks) and on Lake Coeur d'Alene she has a love of nautical life. During the past 8 years in southern California, she completed American Sailing Association certifications, an Associate of Arts degree from The Fashion Institute in Design and Merchandising in product development and marketing, and worked as a Brand Ambassador for Le Creuset. Trained in the hospitality and catering skills in in a family business, Lindsey is a bucket of sunshine, spilling out warmth and laughter all around!
Chef: Free Lance
Excellent condition throughout, zero bad smells, all new heads, new showers, etc., carpets were just professionally cleaned. My ONLY unfair comment is that she is a 1983 or whatever ship, so she is well priced and a very fair or good deal at $29.5K .
The fit and finish is superb. Only a very few flaws can be found in the immaculate paintwork, but that is me looking. No one else would even notice. Everything gleams, including brightwork. Everything is clean. One is proud to be aboard in any harbor. I did want to add that any small thing I noticed, and I think there was only one, a loose shower handle, was immediately taken care of, within minutes.
Roll stabilizers worked perfectly. Helm is all up to date, state of the art electronics, big-screen charts, etc.
So I unhesitatingly recommend her as a charter vessel, especially from the point of view of crew. In all, a fine boat at her rate, excellently maintained,
John, happy charterer
