CAPTAIN – George Vallis
George was born in Athens, raised and lived in one of the biggest islands of Cyclades Region, Naxos. He has a maritime family background and since he was a kid he was involved with different sea activities such as jet ski, fishing and various sea sports. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Crete as a Captain and he took an important seminar in AZZURE Yacht Academy having courses such as Yacht Leadership and Management- Yacht logistics - H.R. Management - International Communication- Food and Beverage - Food Service in special events - Yacht Maintenance - Yacht Risk Management- Yacht captain responsibilities and activities - Rules and attitude. After his graduation he had an experience in Cruise Ships but his dream job was to be a Captain in Charter Yachts where he has been working from 2010 until today. His communicative and friendly character will make your holiday trip unforgettable.
ENGINEER– Dimitris Vlogiannitis
Dimitris is 39 years old, a Greek national. He has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyros and holds an A‘ Class Engineer Certificate. He also holds a Bachelor degree in Marine and Mechanical Engineering from John Moore University in UK and Proficiency in fast rescue boats. Before entering the yachting industry he had worked on passenger vessels and in Eletson Corporation as a seller at special spare parts in the purchasing dept. He is a hardworking and friendly person with excellent communication skills. Some of his hobbies are running and water sports. He speaks English and French.
CHEF – Alexandros Makropoulos
Greek national. He holds a Chef’s Diploma and has attended many culinary seminars; “Veggie kitchen” at Joia restaurant in Milano, “Natural Cuisine” by Pietro Leeman, “Exploring new techniques and raw materials” by Unilever Master Class, Training Seminar at Tapas Bilbao Berria Restaurant in Barcelona, “Catering ISO-HACCP”. He was also awarded in the contest for the best new Chef “Golden Caps 2012”. Alexandros is a Cooking professor at XINI group and has worked in the most famous 5* Hotels and restaurants in Athens as well as in the famous NAMMOS restaurant in Mykonos island. He has experience in different culinary roles and settings from Mediterranean and French cuisine to ethnic, Japanese and Thai cuisine. Alexandros is a hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic Chef with a real passion for preparing quality, healthy and nutritious meals. Exceptional record of service, committed to leaving diners with an especially memorable dining experience. He is eco-conscious with flair in organic and ingredient driven meals. Alexandros creates the best possible flavors to offer superior guest experience. He speaks English and he is married with two children.
CHIEF STEWARDESS – Alona Kielar
Alona is 27 years old, a Polish national. She holds a Bachelor in Cultural Sciences and a Certificate in PYA GUEST Interior Intermediate Housekeeping and Service (Silver, Butler and Plated Service, Valet & Housekeeping, Laundry, Communication Systems & Interior Administration). She has worked on M/Y O’Leanna, M/Y Interceptor XII and M/Y Darlings. She is a dynamic, well-presented person with a creative and professional approach to her work and she maintains the highest levels of service at all times. She speaks English, Russian and basic Slovak & Greek. She loves reading and travelling.
STEWARDESS – Maria-Christina Fadakis
Maria is 30 years old, a Greek national. She has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos and she also holds a Lifeguards diploma. She has worked on various charter yachts as well as restaurants in her birth place Evoia Island and as a lifeguard at big Clubs in Greece. She is a very active person who always smiles and tries to cater to client's needs at all times. She speaks English and basic French. She loves doing watersports and swimming.
DECK HAND – Menelaos Gardikiotis
Menelaos has been working as a carpenter and sailor since 1984 as well as in a ship piping construction & submarine piping companies and at ship supplies dpt. His great experience and his team spirit make him a valuable asset to the crew. He holds an Automobile Engineering Diploma, a Diving and Lifeguard Certificates. He speaks English and he is an enthusiastic and hard working person.
