CAPTAIN – Kiriakos Vgenopoulos
Captain Kiriakos holds a B Class Captain’s Diploma having graduated from the Greek Merchant Marine Academy. He was born in 1976, a Greek national He also holds certificates of GMDSS, ISPS, Tanker Safety, Ro/Ro Passenger, BRM, luxury yacht aviation fuels and firefighting by SERCO IFTC, Fire Fighting Appliance & Life Saving, Medical Care, HAZMAT, Marine Pollution Prevention and SSO. He has been in the yachting industry since 2004 onboard various charter yachts; M/Y Annnaliesse, M/Y RM Elegant, M/Y Albatros II, M/Y Little Mary, M/Y Defender, M/Y Magna Grecia, M/Y Altair & M/Y Atalanti. He has great knowledge of both East and West Med areas, as well as Caribbean, Maldives and Middle East. He speaks English fluently and he enjoys basketball and aikido.
Kiriakos is an experienced Captain with a great personality who will make your clients cruise unforgettable.
ENGINEER – George Klapis
George is 50 years old, a Greek national. George has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in Chios and he holds an A ‘Class Engineer Certificate, a speedboat license and a Dive master diploma and rescue. He has 15 year experience on tankers and container ships and 10 years on charter yachts. He is a very energetic and friendly person and some of his hobbies are running and water sports. He speaks English.
CHEF – Christos Barakis
Christos is 45 years old, a Greek national. He has a Chef’s Diploma having graduated from O.T.E.K. He has worked in many luxurious restaurants and hotels before entering the yachting industry, 23 years of experience. He has great knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, specializing in seafood and prepares International dishes as well. He speaks English and he enjoys travelling.
STEWARDESS – Asimina Kasimaki
Asimina is 32 years old, a Greek national. She has studied Accounting and Economics. She has worked as a crew manager in a 5 star hotel in Crete for 5 years and she joined M/Y Tropicana in 2009. She has a Skipper’s diploma due to her passion for the sea and she also holds Life Saving & Fire Fighting certificates. She has a very pleasant personality and she makes sure that all guests are happy and comfortable onboard. She speaks English. She enjoys sailing and all watersports.
