Welcome aboard Utopia ...
Enjoy an unforgetable vacation in the British Virgin Islands aboard Utopia.
You will find crystal clear waters, secluded beaches, and an abundance of sunshine.
Utopia is a 2003 Island Spirit 400 Catamaran built by Fortuna Yachts in South Africa. It was named one of the Top 10 Boats for 2003 by Sail Magazine. Built to be lived aboard the Island Spirit will have more space, storage, and comfort than most other yachts designed for charter fleets.
Tony and Melody are the owners and crew of Utopia. Married aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean, they are both as passionate about sailing as they are about enjoying life. They both began boating as children and have been on the water ever since. They have owned several boats over the years and have decided to make the plunge into the crewed charter business.

UTOPIA Crew Profile
Tony and Melody are the owners and crew of Utopia. Married aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean, they are both as passionate about sailing as they are about enjoying life. They both began boating as children and have been on the water ever since. They have owned several boats over the years and have decided to make the plunge into the crewed charter business.
Tony holds a USCG Master Captain's license, STCW-95, and American Sailing Association (ASA) licenses. He enjoys playing soccer, biking, fishing and of course sailing when he spends time home in St. Louis. Tony's adventurous side is well balanced by his laid-back, easy-going personality. Tony has the patience and skills necessary to share his passions with anyone interested in learning more.
Melody holds a USCG Master Captain's license, STCW-95, and ASA licenses. She is certified in First Aid, Adult / Child CPR, and is a certified fitness instructor. She enjoys participating in marathons, sailing, and soccer in her home town. She has professional experience bartending and is eager to welcome you with her island rum punch as you board. Melody's passion for the Caribbean, and entertaining friends has brought her to the BVIs, where she can't wait to show you some of the most beautiful islands in the caribbean.
Together, Tony and Melody will make sure you have a memorable trip...relaxing and enjoying lazy days at an easy going island pace.
This is a unique vacation, living on a private boat and sailing to a new island paradise each day. It is luxurious, but also very affordable. Why spend your vacation on a crowded cruise ship where you only get 5 – 6 hrs to enjoy each island? They will take you where the cruise ships can’t and you will get to experience everything the islands have to offer from sunrise to sunset.
Everything is flexible and can be adjusted. Tony and Melody will sail Utopia and take care of all mooring, docking, and navigation on the boat. If you want to learn we will be glad to teach you as much as you want about sailing. If you want to relax on the trampolines while sipping boat drinks its up to you. This is your vacation. After offering suggestions, where we go and what we do is all up to you… of course as long as the weather cooperates
