Whilst on board, Vaimiti's five professional crew members, will look after you in style, be it preparing your favourite meal, serving coktails on the aft deck or offering instruction on sailing techniques.
Vaimiti
is a sleek, high performance sailing sloop that combines the thrill of voyaging under sail with the highest standarts comfort.
The stern stairway and swimming platform allow easy access to the sea for snorkeling, swimming, water sports and embarking the yacht's tender.With its shallow draft ( 9,5' ), this 130' sailing yacht can navigate and anchor in the most beautiful locations. Vaimiti's spacious open-air cockpit is protected from the sun by a bimini awning and provides an ideal lounging and dining area.
Vaimiti's rig has been carefully designed to ensure an easy handling whilst under sail ( over 1250 sqm sails ). Her fully equipped sailing gear can be hydraulically controlled from the helmsman's steering console. The two keels and the ballast tanks system guarantee to the guests stable and comfortable cruises.

Jean Luc CHABOUD, first Captain and Manager, Nationality: French, Age: 61
Jean Luc's passion for the sea rules his life. He started in regattas and moved on to become passionate sailor at a young age. He holds a record of many miles in yacht-racing and sailing all over the world. He sailed and chartered to many Mediterranean, Caribbean and Pacific areas. Over the last twenty years he has maintained a close relationship with the owner thanks to his professionalism and experience and currently manages entirely the yacht. A good atmosphere on board among the crew is for him the key to success and one of the best ways to run a charter yacht is to invest in their crew ! He is French Merchant Marine STCW95 Officer, as Master ( all seas ).
Philippe TOURTON, second Captain, Nationality: French, Age: 43
Philippe was introduced to sailing when he was seventeen and decided to enter the yachting world after his first Atlantic crossing in 1990 with Jean Luc Chaboud, they have been working together ever since. Philippe has grown to become the second captain and manages a perfect balance with his private life, he is married with two children, he can divide his time between home and on board Vaimiti. His hobbies include skiing, windsurfing and travelling. He has a French Merchant Marine STCW95 Sailing boat skipper certificate.
Jean Baptiste KLING, Engineer, Nationality: French, Age: 29
He grew up in Normandy and working on boats is the natural path to follow after he passed all required certificates. He has been working on Vaimiti over three years, sailing and chartering in Mediterranean and Caribbean areas. He enjoys sharing his passion for sailing and water sports with all guests while on charter. His hobbies include Yacht Racing and photography. He is a French Merchant Marine STCW95 sailing boat Skipper and engineer ( 750 kw ).
Rosie DILEO, Deckhand, Nationality: Italian, Age: 38
She is originally from Italy and has always been passionate about sailing. Prior to joining Vaimiti Rosie was on board other sailing boats cruising in Mediterranean area. When she embarked one year ago and joined the crew as deck hand she has shown a continuing desire to progress in this world. Her unlimited energy allows her to climb up the mast, repair parts and steer the dinghy with great ease.
Gwladys Gros, Chef, Nationality: French, Age: 31
She was born in the french Alpes, working all winter seasons in a ski resorts as a restaurant manager.Her yachting career started working on a delivery from France to Caribbean on Vaimiti. She is now in her fourth year in yachting, and has an outgoing personality. She enjoys skiing, swimming and travelling.

VAIMITI Accommodations
VAIMITI can accommodate 10 guests in 4 cabins. The Master cabin has a king size bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a twin bed, a pullman, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a king size bed, shower and toilet. VAIMITI is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate companionway, heads and shower.
