Captain Philippe TOURTON, Nationality: French, Age:36
French Merchant Marine STCW95 Sailing boat skipper certificate. French Merchant Marine diploma in engineering (750 kw).
Philippe has been Engineer, then, Second of the owner's boats during 10 years before becoming the Captain of Vaimiti 2 years ago. Sailing professionally for 12 years, he has sailed and chartered to many Mediterranean and Caribbean destinations. Philippe is married with one child. His hobbies include Skiing, Windsurfing and travelling.
Deckhand Jean-Jacques MONFORT, Nationality: French, Age:34
STCW95 Basic training.
Jean-Jacques has sailed across the Mediterranean and the Caribbean for 10 years on Yacht racers (which he used to do professionally) and Yacht charter. His hobbies include Yacht Racing, Photography and diving.
Chef Xavier AGUETTANT, Nationality: French, Age:32
Xavier is a graduate of the French hostellerie school at "Le Touquet".
Before sailing, he has been head Chef at "Le Divellec**" in Paris, at the "Front Row Restaurant in Manly (Sydney/Australia), he served his apprenticeship in the famous "Les Ambassadeurs" restaurant, the Hotel "Le Crillon" in Paris, "Le Richelieu" in La Flotte en Ré, and the "Hotel Buckingham of Buxton" (UK). Xavier is a chef passionate about food and discovering new dishes, he is a stickler for detail in food presentation. As well as his love for all things culinary, Xavier has sailed across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Pacific. His interests include surfing, diving and travelling.

Her yachting career started working on a delivery from France to Japan on a 52ft sailing boat. She is now in her fifth year in yachting, she has worked as Stewardess on boats such as the charter yacht, Friday Star, Magic Cat, Lady Barbaretta. Carole is an experienced and hospitable Stewardess and has an outgoing personality, she enjoys swimming and travelling.
Chief Engineer Richard BOUTET, Nationality: French, Age:26
French Merchant Marine STCW95 diploma in engineering (7500 kw). French Merchant Marine STCW95 master (200 UMS).
Richard has been engineer on sailing yachts such as Garuda, Bartabas,Obsession II. He has sailed and chartered accross the Mediterranean and the Caribbean for more than 4 years. His hobbies include Surfing and travelling.
