We had an excellent trip on Venture.  Capt. Mark is a lovely laid back captain who aimed to please.  Ilene Lipsitz, his chef/crew, was a very positive addition.  They were great with our kids.  The Venture is a beautiful vessel which sails very well and is very well maintained.  The master stateroom in particular is outstanding, with a very large ensuite head and separate stall shower.

The yacht was beautiful inside and out, and there was absolutely not one thing that I would change.Eileen’s cooking was superb, there was always something wonderful coming from the galley; she baked her own breads, we had desserts – it was all outstanding.  Mark was a relaxed, extremely accommodating captain, especially to allow us the opportunity to enjoy ample sailing.

The yacht is is beautifully designed - we felt that nothing had been
compromised on, either on comfort or quality. The master cabin suite is
just so well laid out that we felt at home immediately and it was a
pleasure to live aboard for the full week.

The sailing was wonderful, especially the long sail out to Barbuda and
then back again - cruising along at a comfortable angle and suddenly
realising you are doing 10 knots! Even sailing in the rain on our last
day was fun.

Mark was a great Captain all round - he clearly knows the boat well, and
really cares about it, and was also a nice guy to spend a week with. For
guests who are inexperienced sailors he is calmly reassuring, and
instructive without arrogance or too much unexplained jargon.
