Crew Profiles:

While aboard The Wild Orchid you'll be in the safe hands of our 2 man crew lead by our captain, Carlton Young, aka Patu.



Born in Placencia, Patu spent his childhood diving and fishing off the coast of Southern Belize. His family were the top producers of whole fish, lobster and conch for many years with the Placencia Fishing Coop.



Patu was one of the first and youngest diving instructors in Southern Belize, he holds both PADI and NAUI. He has been instructing for the last 22 years and captained for the last 15 years all over the world including Egypt, Australia, PNG, Honduras, Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama. It's hard to tell whether Patu has spent more of his life in water than on land :)



Siripohn is our very special 3rd member of staff and is our on-board masseuse and chef. Through her natural gifts and training at The Mandarin Oriental Spa, Bangkok, with 13 years of experience in Traditional Thai Massage, Siripohn revitalizes and rejuvenates using techniques specifically tailored to our guests.



Siripohn does not only possess healing hands but she is also a talented chef and has been serving eastern cuisine in Belize for 10 years.



Patu has 5 years experience as a chef in a local resort and he specializes in local dishes. Look forward to them both preparing the day's catch for a divine menu.
