Accommodating six guests in one queen and two twin staterooms, Wishing Star is available in New England in the summer, Charleston, SC in the Fall, Florida in the winter and the Bahamas in the Spring. Wishing Star has had many updates on the main deck, the main salon and guest staterooms. The dining and pilothouse have been completely restored, rebuilt and refurbished. The main salon and dining salon received new mahogany paneling. All of these spaces received new ultra suede headliner, new carpet and new overhead lighting fixtures.. Other improvements include: New generator, new bright work, new paint job, all soft furnishings including linens, towels, fabrics, curtains, carpets, etc. In the first half of the twentieth century, society’s most prominent members knew that owning a Trumpy meant you had truly arrived. The DuPont, Guggenheim, Morgan, Dodge, and Chrysler families all had Trumpy yachts. Even the famous Sequoia, the official yacht of seven U.S. Presidents (from Roosevelt to Carter), was a Trumpy.
